This hotel was excellent value for the price. The room is quite small which didn't matter for a one night visit, but it did feel airless. Staff were very helpful.

The B Hakata Hotel Fukuoka is
The B Hakata Hotel Fukuoka is conveniently located near both Hakata train station and Fukuoka international airport. It is a convenient and inexpensive place to stay. The rooms are very clean and the provided breakfast is generous and well balanced. My main complaints were with the service. Mysteriously, I was given breakfast coupons for only part of my stay (when I enquired about this I didn't receive a satisfactory explanation). The computer in the main lobby for internet use remembers people's log-on details (a potential security issue) and after I had mentioned this the situation was not rectified. I also would not recommend staying here if you don't speak Japanese. Basically it's cheap and convenient and the cooking and cleaning staff do an excellent job while the reception staff were not very professional at all. They did however manage to successfully book me a taxi to the airport.

Good value. Relatively near to the JR and subway but expect to walk about 10-15 mins. Not visible from JR/subway exits but can ask at the Hakata JR station Information counter which provides very clear directions with map.

the hotel staff was very friendly, romms are very clean, greta location. I will stay again at ths hotel very soon, no need to experience another hotel the B hotel is a great hotel and perfect for my needs as business traveler.

solid but small
Really small but common in Japan. Great staff, even thought check in was at 3:00 and I tried to check in at 2:50. That seemed a little odd. Coffee machine is for some reason always being cleaned, but clean and REALLY nice hotel overall. Free Internet is awesome. Took us only 6 minutes to walk to Hakata station. Ampm right around the corner. They let us leave our bags there while we went to the beach before our flight and after check in.

This hotel was truly great for
This hotel was truly great for location, (2 block from Hakata Sta.) 7 minute taxi ride from the Tenjin/Canal City shopping district, and night life. The only down fall, there is no free parking, and the hotel does not validate for parking in the garage. For a single person just getting away for a weekend or a place to crash for the night, this is a great spot for the price.

For the price, I could not have
For the price, I could not have asked for anything more. A short walk to the train station, next to - and across from - delicious food, and nice staff that did their best to communicate with an elementary Japanese speaker.
