I stayed here to visit and to take the ferry to korea, location was superb, there are bus stops right outside the hotel, taxis and the train station is 2 min away walking where you find almost anything you could possibly need, the hotel room is
huge compared to japanese standards. My only complain is that the staff needs to improve their english skills.
*Free WI-Fi :D
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short walk from hotel
There is a restaurant called UOBEI sushi. It's my favourite sushi place in the world ! Ask hotel staff how to get there. 5 min walking
The ANA Hakata hotel was a very pleasant surprise for the price Hakata district. The ANA Hakata room was small from a western standard, but typical of a Japanese hotel; but, it was fine for one person. Very nicely furnished. Free internet
access. The location is great. It is right in the heart of Hakata district. It is an easy walk to the JR Train station as well as lots of restaurants. The hotel has western food that is good, but pricey. The hotel staff was very friendly. My only negative is that the TV is only in Japanese. The one channel listed as an English language channel (BBC) had a Japanese voice over.
