overall, a well organised hotel
overall, a well organised hotel with very good and polite reception staff and efficient cleaners. The only negatives were the selection of "English" breakfast and the lack of coffee facilities in one's room, just one sarchet of green tea and ordinary tea with a mini hob to heat the water. No sugar or milk provided.

A short walk to the JR & plenty
A short walk to the JR & plenty of nearby eating venues make this hotel an easy option for Chiba city business. Twin rooms are worth the extra $ for more space. The breakfast buffet is basic but OK. Staff make a great effort for non japanese speakers.

Very good hotel
The Washington Chiba hotel was a good hotel. It served its purpose, which was basically, sleeping and recovering from the jetlag. I did not use any of their services so I cannot comment on them. In all, I would say that I was satisfied with this hotel.

All the big shopping centers are close by and the big avenues with small shops. There are also plenty of restaurants also within a short walk.
