Nestled in the lush hills of Runaway Bay is the 56-room Runaway Bay HEART Hotel that overlooks the Runaway Bay Golf Course and the Caribbean Sea. The Hotel is approximately 30 minutes from the famous Dunn's River Falls and one hour from the Donald Sangster's International Airport in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The Cardiff Hall Restaurant features local and international cuisine with classic European table service. A wide selection of drinks is available at the Piano Bar, Tree House Pool Bar, and by the Mango Tree Terrace overlooking the pool. Guests can relax on the freshwater pool's sundeck or on the hotel's private beach just five minutes from the hotel. Complimentary shuttle service is provided to and from the beach. In addition, discounted green fees, guided tours and excursions can be arranged. Nightly entertainment is provided at the hotel or at neighboring hotels. All rooms have private balconies with ocean view and have air-conditioning, satellite TV, telephones, hairdryers, private baths and showers, and safes. The hotel also features a gym, beauty salon & Massage Centre, and massage facilities. BE AWARE !!!

We need to warn you. My girlfriend and I bad made bad experience with this hotel with regards to billing and safety, We like to advice you to please ALWAYS check your Bill when dining at the hotel restaurant. More than 3 times we were way overcharged, of course I did my math and figured it out fast. Secondly please be aware to lock all your personal belongings before you leave the hotel. We strongly advise you!!!!!! While dining at the hotel restaurant our cash and blackberry was stolen from our room. So far nothing has been replaced, no correspondence from the Hotel etc. Would not recommend to stay at this hotel. When dining it takes FOREVER until food is served.

jamaicas heart

the runaway bay heart hotel is one of the few training hotels in jamaica.the room was very clean and tidy and was kept that way always.they location was great for travel all over the island.it had a good view of the sea and surrounding area.this hotel is also a green property.i have travelled to jamaica for years this trip was my 10th, and i look forward to my next visit as i will stay at the heart once again.the staff can not do enough for you looking forward to seeing them all again.i take my hat off to all the staff there.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

there are a number of tours and attractions very close by its very easy to travel to any point on the island there are plenty of good local bars pubs and cafes close by that serve traditional jamaician foods.lots of beaches close by as well.

Very family friendly

The Runaway Bay Heart Hotel was the ideal hotel to stay in when visiting this area. There were lots of attractions nearby. The room had a tropical look and feel to it. The balcony had a beautiful view, especially at nights. The dining room is right by the pool, so after a meal you can just go chill and relax. Their staff were very pleasant and courteous. Beautiful Hotel overall. Difinetly stay there again and again.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

There were many family owned eating spots nearby. About 30 minutes away there is a big water falls, where you and your family can hang out by the beach or climb up the falls with a guide. In the other direction are a couple of public beaches were you can park up on and chill. There are caves and mountains to be amazed in.
