The Negril Escape is located on the majestic cliffs of Negril making this the perfect place to spend a few days to a week. You wake up overlooking the ocean and enjoy a free breakfast each morning. On property you can spend the day poolside, in a lounge chair by the water on the veranda, snorkel along the cliffs, or for the adventurous, make a jump from the 25 high platform in our cliff-side lighthouse. Guests can also take a free shuttle to 7-mile beach during the day to sun at the beach and enjoy some shopping. In the evening our sunsets are as beautiful as they come. You can enjoy a beautiful and romantic waterside lunch or a sunset dinner in our gazebo if you like. We are also perfectly located on the cliffs to enjoy dinner and sunsets at the world famous Ricks Cafe, or at either the RockHouse or Push Cart restaurants " all of which overlook the water, are just a short 5 minute walk and make for a relaxing evening. Interior room designs are tastefully done and a reflection of our nation and culture. Additional on-site facilities include free WiFi, the Lifeboat Restaurant and Bar, and a full service spa. Our large patio terrace is perfect for large groups, events, weddings and more.
The front desk is open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and the housekeeping service schedule is from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Please note there is a 10% service charge.

BEAUTIFUL GET AWAY VERY TRANQUIL

Staff was very friendly and call you by name after just meeting you. Everything was clean food was good. Very secluded but great atmosphere ..didn't miss anything as somethings are in walking distance or you get a ride...oh and even though my room was considered a garden view I actually had a great view of the sea....my only recommendation to visitors is to please if you are going to buy souvenirs. ...Please buy jamaican products...

Best Experience

Negril Escape is a Jamaican owned estabalishment with great staff, good food, and relaxing atmosphere. Staff are freindly, attentive, and go out of their way to make sure your stay is pleasant. A shuttle goes to the beach daily so you can get the best of both worlds. Location is great for restaurants, shopping and exploring Jamaica. Breakfast is included and ranges from traditional Jamaican of callaloo, eggs, dumplings and plantain to American breakfast of French toast and eggs with bacon. Always fresh coffee and fruit with one of the best views in Jamaica! Bar was nice and right on the water. Bartenders were aweome! Resort was safe and I had no concerns while there that safety was an issue.

Negril Escape Crew

I just want to say that the Negril Escape was the best "escape" we've had in ages. Since we can't travel in Mexico anymore, we're shifting to Jamaica. The staff at the Negril: Dameon, Kevin, Sheldon, Davis and Charmaine and the others, were simply awesome. The breakfast amenities were great, the location is in a very nice area of Negril, kind of quiet, yet close enough to the action if you want it. The establisments nearby range from elegant to rasta...yeah mon. I recommend it with ethusiasm.

Great location, good value

At the time this was the best priced hotel I could find. I was a little disappointed by the room I received, the window and toilet tank were broken and the room seemed very motel like. However, it is right on the beach, the grounds (pool and Jacuzzi) were kept clean, the staff were friendly and the best part was that there was a small shop on the grounds for basic needs which was very helpful since I was traveling with a toddler.

laid-back and friendly resort

The Negril Escape is perfect for those looking for a chilled-out spot to relax and decompress. The cottages are on the nicer side of quaint (AC + TV work well, water temp/pressure a little spotty) and offer spectacular views of the sun setting into the ocean. This resort is located on the west-end of Negril, famous for its scenic cliffs and delicious little roadside restaurants. You can catch a 10 minute cab ride from the Escape and go down to the beach if you crave some white sand and a little more action. Service is good, and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommended for couples.

Two excellent restaurants are just a ~1/4 west (hang a right out of the Escape) of the resort -- Shark's and Alice's. You can hit up Rick's Cafe just a little further down the road if you want a more crowded scene.

Right by the sea

We stayed at Negril Escape during New Years 2011. It is very strategic as we can walk down the road to pubs/restaurants in the area. It is not as flash as other places there we've seen but it was pleasent enough.

Jake's cafe is a 'tourist trap' but we enjoyed it anyway. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the sunset we viewed there. This is where we spent our New Years Eve. Please make sure you clarify the cost of the drinks you are ordering if you don't know how much it will cost in the first place and if you don't want to get ripped off.
