A beautiful vacation
It was very good. We did not get a king size bed when we first arrived and had to sleep in a double. The servers were very accomodating, the front desk not so much. The location was perfect and we will come back again.

Okay for traveling inexpensively
The rooms are nice and clean. Good shower. Wished for a refrigerator and wifi, but both were extra $. The restaurant closed at 3:30 and the bar at 5:00 and then there was nothing going on at all. We just relaxed at the beach as best we could but were constantly harassed by the locals. Security was very good and I felt safe. I would go back to Negril, but probably not this hotel. There is a restaurant next door that played very loud Regge music until all hours of the night a could nights a week and it was tough sleeping. I would have liked better food at a better price at this hotel. I got shocked by the lamp when I tried to turn it on the first night. That was very scary. If you are going to Negril to do nothing but lounge around and relax and you want to save money, this would be fine.

Had a great time
Our first trip to Jamaica. Decided not to stay at all inclusive resort. Had to get used to the exchange rate and understand how laid back everything was, but within the first day got it figured out and loved it. Very nice people, Breezy our cab driver was terrific, he took care of us, let us know good places to go and picked up timely and waiting for us when needed. He is the best. The hotel is nice, clean we spent just a little bit of time there because we went out to see everything, but the breakfast was nice and even though no wi-fi could use the computers in the hotel lobby to check email, Etc. for free. Thank you for the great service.

so much for continental breakfast
We dis get this at a great deal, and didn't really care much about the continental breakfast. However, as time got closer to our Rsvp, we began to appreciate , and look forward to it. However, it ended up only being pastries. Ho hum..oh and the mosquitoes ate me alive. Spoke to front desk, and the manager said that they were looking to spray the property. Why were there people sitting at their tables eating with bottles of "OFF"...??!! Otherwise, cute rooms...

Yeah mon!
Room Negril is just the right place to stay on 7 mile beach. it is a typical caribbean hotel that provides the basic needs for the "non all inclusive" guest looking to find traditional island hospitality. my room was nicely appointed with the basics. the only thing missing was the mini fridge (you can however rent one if you really need it). the grounds were very well taken care of and there was always someone landscaping. the restaurant was a bit disappointing but you are steps away from good local ones. the "sweet spot" restaurant near and has really good curry goat. the beach is awesome. the water crystal clear, nice and warm. perhaps a bit too many hustlers but learn how to say NO and they will leave you alone.

Something missing
Although the hotel is in a good location and the basic facilities are in place, the rooms lack any natural ventilation and really need even the smallest of fridges. Breakfast is poor and too sweet, service is slow. Whenever we asked for anything from the front desk, the basic answer was no, although not said in so many words. This could be a great hotel but is in serious need of a good manager who puts guests first and ensures that ganja is NOT smoked on the premises.

Awesome break from work!
I have been to many hotels in my time travelling all over the world, and found Rooms Negril a very nice place to stay, for the money! The staff were great, willing to assist in everyway possible, and even the security went out of their way to help ensure a awesome experience. My only regret is that my visit was too short! Thanks everybody for bearing with some members of my family, special thanks to Kelvin, chef, and all the others. Thank you!

Great Place to stay-Great Ocean front
My husband and I booked this vacation last minute. We made our reservation over the internet and paid alittle extra for the Ocean Front King. We were pleasantly surprised with the excellent service and beautiful room. The hotel is very new and bathroom in King O.F. was big with awesome shower! Hot water was no problem for us. We enjoyed meeting the local vendors and eating at the local resturants. We loved [...] at the Gatehouse bar. Great conversation and nice company. We traveled into town with [...] from Crosswins Tour & Travel numerous times! Great guy! Very courteous and a wealth of information. We had alot of fun thanks to him. Give him a call 876-897-4279. Sunday church downtown Negril was Awesome! Long--but very entertaining and inspiring. Will go back ASAP to Rooms Negril.

Great!
Very happy with the size of the room & bathroom. Clean. LOVED the security guards. The staff was attentive to our needs. The staff at the restaraunt was slow. The continental breakfast was ok. Would have been nice to have fruit, but that is apparently difficult to come by everywhere--no lemons or limes at any of the bars! Perfect size. We weren't on top of other guests at the pool or beach. Felt very safe there.

Sunset After Dark is a newer place on the cliffs. Try the hamburger. Seriously. It's enough for 3 people to share & delicious! Very friendly & accomodating staff & owner. Great view of the sunset. Other food is also fantastic.
