Royal Decameron Montego Beach - All Inclusive

as always my experience at the Decameron is spectacular.the staff as always friendly the rooms is clean and quiet. as for the meals everything was wonderful.the dinning Room very clean the atmosphere was great looking out in the ocean especially in the evening watching the sunset.the location is great along the hip strip close to the Montego BAY Airport.the activities is family oriented and the to top it all the entertainment was out of this world. just want to say thanks to all the wonderful staff from the desk clerk, cooks,wait person in the dinning room,the bar the house keepers, grounds keeper entertainer you are wonderful.i would recommend my family or friends to the Decameron.you are all awesome Betty Vansleet

We loved it here! It is a short ride from the airport. The hotel is right on the ocean, all the rooms have an ocean view! The bartenders were amazing and everyone is so nice! They have entertainment every night and a disco right at the resort so you don't have to leave if you don't want to (I didn't like the fashion show wed night but otherwise it was all good). But the hip strip with the shops are all in walking distance.The food was good too; we did the reservation resturant one night but it wasn't that great so stick to the buffet! we have traveled lots of places and this is one we want to go back to again and again :)

Great resort - all the staff were great and the food excellent - the location perfect. Great snorkeling right off the beach, two small walk in beaches were OK, large man made boardwalk beach was fine. Beware they try to move people to Runaway Bay - so you may not end up where you book.

I had a great time. the only problem I had was they not have my reservation at the hotel when we got there and we had to wait till they could confirmed that we had reservations(which took about an hour)

It was a great experience. I expected more from the hotel but had no complaints.. well except for Seafood night in the main room, the choices for those non-seafood eaters were minimal.. but still good. The beach was small but just as pictured. Everything you need was on the resort. There are some local "craft markets" across the way. The "clubs" are close enough to walk but there is also a shuttle that comes to the hotel. I don't think tips really got us better service but it was much appreciated so Im good with that. The rooms felt wet.. more humid in the room than it was inside. Stay away from the onsite disco.. it was SAD. Great hotel overall and even better pricing.

Really good hotel, nice staff, good food and drinks, very good location.

Hotel employees had the resort looking ship shape every morning. There was something to do all the time. This was more family orientated than in Negril. It was more luxury than Negril. The hotel was nearly full, but it was never crowded anywhere. Even with open bar, I never seen anyone drunk.

Our 3rd time at the Decameron MoBay.Love the place.If you are looking for a great time in Jamaica try this place.Good food,breakfast,lunch,and dinner.The only thing we dont like is that there is no room service.Also,we would like to have had a coffeemaker in room,and a small refrigerator.The people are great at the resort,the Mento Band are charming,the Beach Grill is great.Toss a few bucks to the servers,they will not forget you.The beach is 75yrds long but it is beautiful and there is always room for you to enjoy it.The Hip Strip is within walking distance,and we have never had any trouble leaving the resort ,day or night to shop or party.The locals will bother you to come to their store,or want you to buy their "ITEMS",but just politely decline and keep movin on.Love the Decameron,we will see ya next year,Yah Mon!Also love the new flatscreen TV in rooms.

Great for the price. THe staff was very friendly the food was good. The hotel location was great, we could walk the hip strip instead of paying for expensive cab rides. Recommend the party boat tour to dunns river which you can book at the hotel.

The Royal Decameron was a nice hotel. The staff is really friendly and works hard to keep the guests happy. My husband and I had a great time kayaking and snorkeling. We also loved the giant chess set. There is a sailing instructor that doesnt give lessons but will take you out on the water. The food was so so good - really we were shocked that the buffet never disappointed. The evening shows were entertaining. The rooms are comfortable - nothing special but clean. The great thing is all rooms have a water view. The beaches have a lot of coral so step carefully so you dont cut your foot. The poolside bar and beach-side grill were perfect for afternoon snacks. There are plenty of lounge chairs for sunbathing, but they could use a few more beach umbrellas for shade seekers.
