Exclusive Montego Bay area all-inclusive resort gem on pristine bay
The Riu Montego Bay is an attractive, all-inclusive resort in exclusive Mahoe Bay, which hugs a scenic coastline less than three miles from Montego Bay. This family-friendly resort has plenty for everyone, including a kids club. Couples and singles are drawn to the resort's nightclub, spa and nearby Montego Bay nightlife. The beach offers a variety of water sports and a lagoon-style pool beckons. Guests will listen to live music or settle in to RIU Theme Shows, with performances seven days a week after dining at one of the resort's four restaurants.

Vacation for 2
Very clean! Friendly staff, knew when to ask if you need anything and when to let you just relax and enjoy your vacation. Drinks were weak, but unlimited. Food was good. Very short drive from airport, maybe 10 min, which allows you to start vacation as soon as you land.

Mother's 85th Birthday
Good stay at a moderate price. The staff made it so, with a special shout-out for front desk staff Jason who bent over backwards to keep our group together even though we arrived at different times. The trip was a surprise for my Mom - who stated she added 10 years to her life that week-end. Thanks Rui

Great 25th B-Day
The RIU Montego Bay was lots of fun and the staff is great and welcoming. The food wasn't the best, but is probably standard for all-inclusives. All-inclusive alcoholic beverages make it a great place to celebrate a special occasion.

Good hotel for the money
The Riu was pretty much spot on for the money. It is not a luxury hotel, but it has nice accomodations for the ocean front rooms. The 1st night there, we were given a garden room that looked out at the laundry and garage--where they were welding and banging on metal all night. The grounds are relatively small, but very well maintained, but the location is not great--no where to walk and so close to the airport that the flights overhead can be distracting at times. Food is so so--typical buffet stuff you wld find at an all-inclusive. I have had better; I have had worse. Breakfast and dinner were acceptable and then some, but lunch was a little disappointing. We were with other people and there was a snafu with the rooms. After a period of confusion, the manager graciously upgraded to a suite. Which was gorgeous. Fitness center is good, w/ enuf treadmills etc. that you do not have to wait. Hours of operation are 7 to 7, which is a little constricting. Plenty of chairs on the beach and by the pool. Best resort i have ever been at for that. Friendly staff. Beach is ok.

A Wonderfull Time in Jamaica
Had a wonderfull time. We would return with out a question. Wonderfull service, wonderfull location. 95% of the food was great, so overall all I can say is that this resort is wonderfull. We are tell all out friends to try it.

Great Trip
This was a relaxation trip for us and that is just what we did! The staff was very friendly and promptly took care of anything you needed. The food was great and we enjoyed the pool area the most! would recomend this place to anyone!

Beautiful Jamaica, a great vacation spot
While soaking up the sun on the beach native mucians came by to play and sing native songs. It was great and unexpected for the middle of the day! I loved it! While on this trip I spent most of my time by the water enjoying the warm warters and the sun. I also took a trip to Nigril to visit "Ricks Cafe" a spot which offers a fantastic view of the ocean, live music at sun-set and for the adventurous type cliff diving. Wow! This was the best vacation I had in years! Love Jamaica!!! There was one thing missing from the Riu. There was no entertainment targeted to singles.

nice rseort
well i paid for the oceanfront room, and was given a standard romm, it wasnt until 16 hours before my checkout that the room i paid for was given to me. that would be my only complaint....and the open restaurants were a lil HOT.
