Surprised at the quality and value

With relatively low rates I was surprised by the quality of the resort and the staff. On request was upgraded to a great room with a view. Staff was extremely friendly at every turn, and the buffet and bar selections (included in the price) were better than expected. The rooms are furnished well, and EXTREMELY quiet. I've now been in sixty countries although this was my first to Jamaica. I'll be back...

10 Days Away - Almost Enough!

The staff were absolutely the best! All who we encountered spoke to us and asked how things were. The entertainment STARZ mingled with the crowds and were very engaging and entertaining! Lemon Head and Tootsie Roll kept the guest attention. Can those girls dance!! Lots of fun activities at the pool and on the beach. Many, many smiling faces! The variety of foods in the main cafeteria and at the on site restaurants had something for any palate. Pool time - never enough.

Fantastic Getaway!!

I really enjoyed my stay. This is a beautiful hotel. We stayed in the Beach resorts where we met a lot of people from all over. I would recommend everyone to stay in the Iberostar resorts regardless if it's the Grand, Suites, or Beaches. All are beyond beautiful.

All of the Iberostar resorts are right next to each other ( Grand, Suites, and Beaches). The "Beaches" resort is just as nice and cheaper.

Can't wait to go back

Great hotel with great location! Not too far from airport and it's the 3rd largest resort in the area. The food is delicious. There I'd a wide variety of food to chose from at the buffet. We loved having breakfast outside on the patio just across from the beach! The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. We are looking to book our next trip and will be back to this hotel without hesitation.

just average....

This was our first trip to Jamaica. The Iberostar resort, which bills itself as 4-star, is really a 3-star wanna-be. They skimp in many silly little places and you feel it. For example: They restock the minibar every other day, so my wife and I sat and had a beer overlooking the ocean on Monday and Wednesday but not Tuesday and Thursday. They provide a coffee maker and one coffee cup in each room. We shared our morning coffee. We tried to walk down the beach to see their other properties. We were picked up by their security and forcibly returned to our 'Beaches' property. The food at the buffet was barely as good as my high school cafeteria and the food in their 'Gourmet' restaurants was hardly better. I could go on and on.... In short, we won't be going back.

My sons wedding

we arrived on Sunday 03/10/13 had reservations for the beach they upgraded us to the suites we thought that was very nice the room we were in had a horrible odor in it we said something and the staff said we will have someone clean it that did no good. The electricity went out two seperate occasions it was very frustrating finally they moved us to another room this room had a leak from the ceiling in the hallway my son was in our room getting ready for his wedding and he had a white suit on and got splashed on his back from the leak they had to fix it two seperate times we were not very happy. My son stayed at the grand we were there for the wedding and he had so many problems with the wedding package the wedding planner kept trying to charge them at the last minute for things when they were already aware what the package was costing them they never got there wine nor there champaigne also they went to there room at the end of the night to a beautiful bath ran and a heart of rose pedals on the bed with a note happy anniversary and not my sons name or his wife they left this for another couple the wedding was beautiful but should not have been so frustrating on the day of. I would appreciate some feed back from you. Thank you Jose Serrano

Just the two of us...

My husband and I stayed at the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach and enjoyed our stay immensely. The buffet at Little River was always good and there were plenty of choices for everyone. We talked to others at the airport who stayed at other resorts that charged extra for wine, but Iberostar included it. We enjoyed the Samurai restaurant one evening and the chef was very entertaining. The staff at this resort was fabulous! We were always greeted and assisted wherever we went. The only complaint that we had was that the beds are pretty hard and our backs hurt by about the third day. The gift shop sells Advil so we survived. We had an oceanfront room and the balcony had a solid wall that we had to stand up to see over so we couldn't enjoy the ocean while seated on our balcony, but we found chairs to lay on the beach instead. We enjoyed the shoppes at Rosé Hall and took their free bus down there three times during our week long stay. I took the downtown shopping tour and enjoyed seeing the local people but wouldn't recommend that one for people with kids along. We had a blast on the Dunn River Falls tour. If you want to do this one, be sure to bring water shoes or you have to rent them at the falls. Lockers are $20 and DVDs were $40. Be sure to buy a waterproof camera before you go!! If this is your first time here, you should know: There are three Iberostar hotels at Rosé Hall. They have the Grand which is adults only and guests enjoy the amenities of all three resorts. They have the suites which has a water park like area in the center for children and has larger rooms for families. Guests of the suites enjoy the amenities of the suites and the beach hotels. The last is the beach which is a beautiful hotel but guests use only the amenities at this resort. The three are side by side for easy walking between them and along the beach.

Check out the Rosé Hall Shoppes when you get there. There is a great little store between the two coffee shops on your left as you enter. They have t-shirts at reasonable prices and good quality. The couple also own the shop across the hall and have beautiful dresses that are part of their own line.
