We had an excelent time at this resort. They gave us a complementry bottle of champagne for our room which was a very nice touch and the flower petels in the room were nice too, The beach and pool were very nice and well kept. Had a great time snorkeling aroung their coral reef. Beautiful marine life!

Nice place for few days to run away of our crazy world.
I spent 7 days of vacation with my wife in Iberostar Rose Hall Beach Resort. It was pretty good experience. Room was clean with free safe box and beverages in refrigerator. It was variety of good food in buffet-restaurant and snack restaurant. You also can have 3 dinners in Cajun Restaurant, Japanese Restaurant and Steak House Restaurant, but you have to make reservation early in the morning. We had dinner in all of them. If you don’t go there it is not a big loss because there is no big difference between those restaurants and the main buffet-restaurant where you can find food you like. Actually you have much more choices of good food in the buffet. You can get free training in diving in the pool and free kayaking or free catamaran sailing for 1 hour every day. Serving personnel is very friendly; entertainment team is working hard to amuse you. I am a good ping-pong player and they were trying to find for me a strong partner to play with. Due to their efforts I could burn fat without worrying of overeating. Black River tour was interesting to explore the island and get familiar with real life of Jamaicans. Overall it was a good vacation with a good experience.

Amazing solo vacation
Traveled to Montego Bay in November 2011. Arrived late in the evening. Reception staff was very friendly making check in easy. Arrived in room; average no frills as I did not pay for an oceanview, (view of the children's playground and service road) but it was cleaned and the bar stocked. Bars everywhere and great service; food was tasty; great variety at the buffets. Was unable to get reservations at any of the restaurants until late at nite(9PM). The wait staff/entertainment group/bartenders very friendly. Thanks to Aaron, Andrew and Tracy, made the stay worthwhile!! Grounds are beautiful and well-maintained; beach was beautiful with lots of loungers and mix of sun and shade; lots of spots to relax around the grounds; can't say much about the pool as I spent most of my time on the beach. The internet cafe is $5.00 for 15/min. You will need all the time as the computers are really slow. The gym is well appointed. Also went to the Spa at the Grand.; very relaxing with helpful staff. Overall great resort. Would definitely go back

Fantastic Hotel!
This hotel is BEAUTIFULLY designed. It's opulent without being high brow. The staff is as friendly as ever, not a surprise of the Jamaican people and the reason why this trip was my 4th. The food at the buffet is far better than of the restaurants which require reservations (there are 3 but each guest only gets to select 2). The food is super tasty, there is vast variety of palates, fresh fruits, cheeses, etc.. The infinity pool is very large so it feels very private and the beach is the best one out of the 3 Iberostar hotels (Beach, Suites, Grand) because it has trees, providing natural shade from the heat of the sun. This hotel is a definite come back :D

Awesome Relaxing Getaway
Everything at this hotel was excellent. The staff at the front desk were very nice, however, If you have an early flight, (we arrived at 9:30 a.m) they said that they did not have any available rooms for early check in. We had to leave out bags in the lobby and get our bathing suits on in the bathroom. I really didn't mind but keep this in mind when you book your flight. It was worth it to us to have the whole day to spend on the beach. We did get our "All inclusive" bracelets so we were able to eat and drink from the moment we arrived. We were there mainly for R&R so we mostly stayed on the beach and sat by the pool, all of which were clean and well maintained. We went in the off season, and there were always alot of waitresses walking around to take our drink orders both by the pool and on the beach! Very nice staff! Very Friendly! Always had smiles. The event staff were histerical! Really very nice! They do a great job and work really hard. The food choices were amazing. The buffet restaurant had everything you could possibly want to eat. The specialty restaurants were very clean, the service was awesome and the food was delicious. I have never eaten and drank so much in my whole life!!! The rooms were very clean and equipped with mini refrigerators and safes. Unfortunately our refrig did not work properly. We had warm waters, warm sodas and beer. We probably could have gotten ice or made a cooler for the beers with ice but we didn't bother. Im sure that if we would have called the front desk about the refrigerator they would have come to fix it. The A/C system in our room was really not that powerful. We always felt that we were not as cold as we could be. We figured out that if we kept the blinds drawn while out the room would be a little cooler when we got back to the room. We had a garden view room, so the balcony views are ok. We had a lot of palm trees blocking our view but it was a beautiful garden. My friend had a full view of the ocean from her room and it was spectacular. Overall I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The nightlife is lacking a little but we did walk over to the other Iberostar hotel to dance in its Disco (Its in the same complex so we did not have to venture outside of the resort gates and they have a golf cart that can take you over to the disco. We went on a Friday night. We went when our event staff was going. This club seems to be opened to the public so just know that when you go, there will be locals there as well. Everyone was extremely friendly ther and we had a great time! On saturday night the staff wasn't there and my friend who went said there were mainly locals and not as many hotel guests. If you are looking just to relax and eat great food than this is the place for you. If you are looking for a wild nightlife than this is definetly not the place for you. I saw a bunch of children there but since I didn't bring mine I really can't say what kind of activities there was for the children to do! I would recommend this hotel to all my family and friends. I had the time of my life!
