Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort Montego Bay All Inclusive

The hotel amenities were very nice, however, the rooms could use some maintenance and cleaning (deep cleaning). Other than that my stay was nice, the staff was very friendly and professional.

I enjoyed my stay at the holiday inn, the food was just ok. The buffet could have had more of a selection. The restaurants that you have to make reservations for dinner is a must, but you have to make them a day in advance if you want to enjoy good food. The free room upgrade was not much of an upgrade at all. The hotel location was great and the staff was very nice and helpful. Great time for the whole family.

This would be a great hotel to stay at if you have little children, as the beach is very shallow. Although that was probably the only drawback for me as i wanted to actually swim, but couldn't. Had to swim in the pool. Also the beach has lots of sea grass...icky. Otherwise, was perfectly happy with the hotel. The food was fine, a little bland. Get burgers at the barefoot grill...yum. Cups are tiny, so if you want to drink bring your own larger cup. I could have drank more, but was too lazy to keep getting up for a refill (Maybe this is their thinking, save on alcohol as people don't want to keep getting up to go to the bar every 10 minutes). The nightly entertainment was hit and miss. i went to bed early and missed a great show one night, but then the next night stayed up hoping to see something good, but it was a house band playing american music. The room was clean with a great view of the ocean and the main stage/pool area, although if you over look that area it will be loud in your room due to music. You can ask for a quite area. Went trinket shopping across the street. Lots of little shops, had more than we needed. The people are agressive when you first walk across the street, was a little scary, but had no problems. Took the catamaran snorkling tour $60 per person. A van drove us to Sandals to catch the boat. In jamaica they call Sandals the baby farm (because of all the honeymooners), snorkling was not impressive, stops at margaritaville, then foot massages for the women and then learn a little jamaican dance. Very fun. Overall, happy with hotel. Would not stay there again because of the beach though. Great for families with children. Great for anyone if you don't care about swimming in the beach. Cannot use calling cards. Have to use credit card to call outside Jamaica.

Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort, Montego Bay is a family friendly place to stay. The food and beverages were better then I thought they would be with the only exception being the wine. The white wine was undrinkable and the red was better, but not much. Stick with the beer and tropical drinks.

This All Inclusive Hotel is about 10-15 min from the airport, which I liked. NO WORRIES on food. All Inclusive means All Inclusive. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, drinks, alcoholic beverages are superb. Exclusive restaurants are also available for intimate dinner. You will never go hungry and thirsty. There are games, activities and entertainment for the young and old. The pool is cleaned every night and every morning. The beach is magnificent. Water sports equipment are all free with the inlusive package (kayak, pedal boats, sail boat-with assist), which I liked, because these things can cause a lot in other places. The hotel grounds is very clean. The upkeep of the sorroundings and gardens is superior. They really take care of this hotel, which is probably been around for a long time. The front lobby have several agents to assist with day tours and activities outside the hotel. The staff is nice and very helpful. For a 3-star hotel, the rooms are nice and comfortable to stay in. Do not expect a 5-star hotel. The price you pay is what you get, which is very fair. Housekeeping comes everyday to clean the rooms. My husband and I had a really good time in this hotel. We recommend it to our friends and family.

Our check in took almost an hour, they would not tell us what the problem was. The all inclusive dining accomadations was terrible. The room was dirty and moldy. It was tile and the grout was very dirty/moldy. The bed was hard and very uncomfortable. The air condition did not work well. The bathroom was so small you had to step to one side to close the door. The door knob going into the room was broken, all you had to do was pull on it and it came off. I was very disatified. I would never recommend this to anyone nor would I go back. There was very little to do within the hotel complex.

THE SERVICE WAS MORE THAN GREAT THE PEOPLE DID THERE VERY BEST TO MAKE SURE WE HAD A GREAT TIME AND WE SURE DID THE FOOD WAS GREAT THE ROOM WAS ALWAYS CLEAN AND THERE WAS ALWAYS DIFERNT SHOWS AND THINGS TO DO FOR EVERYONE ON THE WAY TO THE HOTEL IN LOOKED LIKE A VERY POOR TOWN BUT ONCE WE GOT TO THE HOTEL WITH THE SERVICE AND THE FOOD EVERYTHING SEEMED OK I WOULD REALLY GO BACK TO THIS SAME HOTEL AGAIN.

My girlfriend and myself are both in our early twenties; this was our first trip to Jamaica. This hotel is about a 10min bus ride with NO traffic from the airport. This was great because the route there was less than stellar. We arrived at 11am and weren't able to check in till 3:30PM. From there on in, the trip WAS A BLAST!. The food selection was good, tons of things to do. Most of the kids keep to the pools which leave the beaches for a majority of adults. There are bars everywhere and they aren't greedy with the liquor! EVERYTHING you could want to do or try can be found on this resort! Overall, A GREAT EXPERIENCE!

Our stay at this hotel was very relaxing. We enjoyed it very much and would recomment it to our friends.

The hotel staff was great. There were always activities going on and food to eat. The hotel has an excursion staff who was very friendly and helpful. I would reccommend this hotel to everyone.
