Wheelchair travel
Our adult son is in a wheelchair. This resort was very HP friendly. We had an HP accessible room, which meant the bathroom had a wide door and a bathtub seat. That was very helpful. The standard room was small, but clean. AC worked well. Bed was comfy. They were a little stingy with shampoo. Glad I brought some of my own. There were a couple of places where the sidewalk was close to the water. It was only a short walk to get into the water. That was helpful as wheelchairs do not roll on sand. But we did have to go out early to claim chairs in the shade at that location. I was disappointed that the water was too shallow for swimming. During high tide our son could float on a raft, but not at low tide. There were a few rocky places good for snorkeling. Bring water shoes and watch out for sea urchins in the rocks and grassy areas. The pool was rather shallow too. Good for kids I guess.

Short drive from hotel
Hired a taxi guide, Gregory Peck, to take us to the Falmouth Crocodile Swamp. We selected it because it was close and level. The walkway was gravel and very hard to push a wheelchair. Gregory took us on a little extra tour. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining.

Fun in the Sun!
The staff was wonderful! As soon as we arrived we were greeted with drinks and smiles. The staff helped us with everything we needed, and they were very energetic and really enjoyed being there. Over all it was a blast, we will be deffinatly going back!

Our Anniversary getaway!!
I can't say enough great things about this Hotel from beginning to end. We were greeted immediately with a delicious rum drink served by na gracious hostess! All the staff go out of their way to treat you fabulously! I just loved it. The rooms are nice and clean. Everything is at your fingertips. The store had everything we needed. The Photography studio people were amazing. We got all the pictures we wanted Sunset....Renewing our vows ...the water EVERYTHING!!. I am going to highly recomend this to any and all friends. My sister and 6 others are planning to come within the next 6 months!! Thank you very much ,....Oh and the value ...could never be beat!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mom Travels
Ignore the Negative Reviews!
I was apprehensive about staying at the Holiday Inn Sunspree after reading so many negative reviews. My conclusion is that only the bad stuff is posted and not all of the good stuff. I am posting positive comments abou the resort. We were very impressed with the resort from the moment we stepped out of the cab. The hotel property is beautiful and very clean. The ocean view from our room was unbelievable. All of the employees were extremely courteous to us and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. When we had a minor problem with the bathroom, maintenance was there in a flash to fix it. The food was plentiful. Some of it was not to my liking, but I didn't have to look far to find something I did like. We ate at two of the reservations only restaurants and were pleased with the food and service. If the opportunity arises, will I stay again at the Holiday Inn Sunspree? Absolutely!!!!!

Nice Trip for Price
The hotel was exactly what I expected for the price we paid. I've stayed at both 3 star and 4 star properties. if you are looking for high end restaurants and liquors, please look elsewhere. The food was ok and the liquors were all "local" liquors.

Try the ala carte restaurants. The italian restaurant was good and they hibatchi was very good. There is a $20 surcharge for the hibatchi but it was well worth it.

Great for the money!
This was our second visit the the Sunspree and would love to go for a third! In just minutes after landing we were at or hotel,no two hour bus ride for us! The food was abundent and always available. The views were beautiful. The hotel had constant entertainment. Love, love love.

Perfect getaway for families and couples
I have absolutely no complaints about this resort. Super friendly staff, great food and friendly atmosphere. The reservation restaurants are a must go to. Nothing gets better than having dinner and listening to the performers at night whilelooking at the Caribbean sea. Indeed, this is a perfect hotel that is certainly worth its value. Definetly recommend this resort to everyone.

Crazy Yo Mon
Great Family getaway
Our stay from 8/18 through 8/25 was great. Our room was located on the 4th Floor in Bldg 3 it was spacious and clean housekeeping did a great job. We ate in three of the four speciality restaurants and the food was great no problem getting reservations. We usually booked our reservation for the next day by noon the day before. Raju was our go to man for breakfast and lunch he is the GREATEST!!!! Nightly shows were great our favorite was the fire show and the violinist who played during and after dinner on Thursday night. He was FANTASTIC. Jerk Hut, Barefoot Bar, Shops, Crafters, Casino and Other Bars were lots of fun and served up great hospitality. The water was clear, calm and warm. We spent most of our time out at the little manmade island it was perfect. The HI is a solid 3 star hotel. Like other reviews say if you want a 5 star hotel don't be such a cheapskate go pay 5 star prices. Then if you don't like what you get you have every right to complain.
