Fall 2012 Stay

The absolute best resort stay I have experienced. The staff made it their business to ensure that my family and I were completely satisfied. They were well trained courteous professionals. The facilities were many with a variety of options and choices. I really liked the restaurant choices, there were a variety ethnic dishes and plus the continuous buffets. I would absolutely reccommend the Grand Palladium and may actuall make this an annual tradition.

had a great time!

Fantastic hotel! Few things that kind of bothered me about it though. 1) Staff did not inform us about where to eat, what was open, location of restaurants, type of food at restaurants, etc. Its like they thought we knew everything about the place when we got there. 2) Beds and pillows are not that soft. But you can pay extra for a softer pillow. 3) If you do not like walking this may not be the place for you. Its the largest resort in Jamaica and depending on what room they put you in, you may have to walk a lot to get around.

Family Vacation

This was a family vacation with two children age 9 and 5. The resort was truly excellent. No complaints with regards to the food. There was definitely a great selection of restaurants and the buffet had great food as well. Even though some have rated this hotel on the low side, don't believe everything you read. Some people are never happy with whatever the resort they visit. We've been to many resorts in the past and this one is definitely one of the better ones. We definitely would consider returning to this resort.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

Swimming with the dolphins. The location will not permit cameras to be taken near where people are swimming with the dolphins. You can take pictures from afar but that is all that you will get. They want their own photographer to take the pictures. Be prepared to pay $30 per picture or a package picture deal for at least $100.

Bad beach. Only one real beach in far point from hotel. Lazy and slow staff, but ask every time for tips. Try push every one to join his travel club for big money.

Awesome trip

the trip was fantastic from start to finish with a few exceptions. first the pump for our section of our villa stopped working causing sewage to back up in the shower, however this was remedied quickly we got new rooms. second the food wasnt terrible but could be better. overall my wife and I are planning on returning within the next few months. the staff was wonderful friendly and go out of their way to help in any way. the people who said you have to tip are nuts although we tipped probably to excess she is a hairdresser and i am a bartender no ONE EVER had their hands out expecting a tip

Perfect Vacation

Went to the palladium with my girlfriend for a week vacation and we were blown away with the high quality staff at this resort. They were very friendly and helpful. The resort was very large with something to do all day. The cleanliness of the resort was excellent! We tried to brainstorm things we didn't like about our stay and couldn't think of anything. We can't wait to go back!

Entertainment tip: Short walk from hotel

When going out around the resort make sure to catch the show, then get drinks at the infinity bar then move on to the club. It's the best way to manage your time!

Still a great place

4th year at this beautiful place. The food is average. The nightly entertainment is so-so but the views are great, the coastline variable enough to be greatly entertaining and if you get anice sea view it is enchanting. We will be back for the 5 th year in a row. The staff does a good job of making you feel welcome

Jamaican Getaway

We traveled to Montego Bay late Sept so it rained every other evening for about 20 minutes. The food was great - highly recommend the steakhouse and the jerk hut on the lady hamilton side. The staff was friendly and hospitable. We did tip even though it was an all-inclusive resort. Overall, excellent experience for our first time in Jamaica.

NO TIP NO SERVICE

The hotel is an All Inclusive, but the waite staff is so spoiled with tipping that if you do not give them a tip eachtime you are served, they will ignore your future requests for as long as they can. The hotel management must get a handle on this before it drives away business. We usually tip, but at the end of our stay, and only to staff that has been consistant with their service. I really like the property, but my wife is really upset about the low quality of service from the waite staff. No Tipping should be strickly inforced on an ALL INCLUSIVE property.
