Best Hotel We've Ever Stayed IN!!

If you're looking for a place to simply relax and take in the scenery this is it; they have incredible food, an incredibly amazing spa, a beautiful beach and exceptional customer service! Nothing bad here! Make sure to get the "good life package" since the food is expensive, but gourmet food it is.

Absolutely the BEST!!!

We have stayed at many hotels in Jamaica. This was by far the best. We went to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather and scenery. Half Moon did not disappoint. We were upgraded to a studio right on the beach. Double doors opened to a patio about 10 feet away from the ocean. The bathroom was large with a beautiful tub and stand up shower. Extremely clean and the staff was polite and courteaous. There was so much to do, from swimming with the dolphins to using bikes to ride around the 400 acre site. There were so many beaches that we felt like we had it all to ourselves.

Peaceful and Relaxing

We did NOTHING...it was very relaxing. The staff was extremely helpful and really focused on your needs. We would go back. One of the nicer resorts we've been too. There is a lot to do if that's what you're looking for. We just wanted a couple days to unwind and relax. The rooms were very nice and the view from our balcony was amazing. Great Trip!

A gorgeous resort

My wife and I spent four nights in a suite in the Hibiscus part of this beautiful resort. Every morning we opened the wide glass doors so we could hear the sound of the surf. The doors opened onto a generous shaded patio less than ten steps from the beach. I need to stay accessible by email, and our room had a high speed wired internet connection. (I tested it at a speedy 3Mbs.) I brought my own portable wireless router so we could sit on the patio and read the online papers from back home. The grounds are meticulously kept, and there are a variety of activities offered, including kayaking, bicycling, tennis and golf. Staff were uniformly gracious and welcoming. Some resorts are all-inclusive for all guests and you can truly put your wallet in the room safe for the duration. Here you can buy drinks and meals packages, but we kept a pocket full of small bills for tipping staff. Given our short stay, we ate exclusively in the on-site restaurants. The only unfortunate part of our stay was the intestinal bug I got the day before we left, after dinner in the Sugar Mill Restaurant. I had to stay in bed for almost 24 hours straight. I?d packed Imodium and antibiotics, and was glad I did.
