Very pleasant hotel in an excellent position. CQ 05/07 Grey stone traditional building, with architecture similar to many buildings in Verona dating back to the beginning of the twentieth century. The hotel is situated in the heart of the historical city centre of Verona, between the famous squares Piazza Bra and Piazza Erbe. The Arena where an opera festival takes place in summer is just 5 minutes away by foot.

The rooms did not have good temperature control and were rather warm and stuffy. Morning construction in the hotel was a ... little bothersome. Otherwise, everything was great.

Loved the Hotel Accademia. This was the best hotel we stayed at in Italy. The rooms are clean, the staff was very ... professional, great location and the breakfast was excellent.

At the high end of a four star hotel. Staff accommodating and professional. Loved the prosecco and juices in the lobby. The ... breakfast buffet is outstanding.

Ristorante Arche near Arche Scaligieri. Classical attentive service. Elegant, unpretentious surroundings Chef/owner comes out to get order. Fish specialties highly recommended. Fine wine list. Did not dine at hotel, so review option there is default neutral.

Perfect Hotel; Perfect Season!

I planned for this time of year purposely and was not disappointed! Accademia was a perfect, close location to all the sights ... and shopping. The room was small but very well appointed.The complimentary breakfast buffet was excellent and a huge plus. I am already thinking of returning in the next off-season!

While the shopping is right around the corner, don't forget that most of the major designer stores are closed on Sunday, so plan accordingly if your departure is Monday!

Lack of air conditioning

The hotel is in a great location. Be prepared to pay 22euros per night for parking. Also if you go in October, be prepared to ... do without air conditioning. Had to sleep with the windows open and listen to the street noise until about 3 am.

The Accademia has lots going for it: a central location, friendly staff, immaculate rooms, and crisp, modern decor. The ... breakfast was fine but not full of variety. The parking garage is a very secure underground garage about a block away. I would definitely stay there again.

Good vacation stop

This was the first stop of a two week stay throughout Northern Italy and we were very pleased at the comfort and location ... after driving from Malapensa Airport in Milan. Very good experience to begin a busy vacation.
