Villa Foscarini

My husband said this was the best hotel we stayed at in Italy. Very friendly staff. It is outside of the city but easy to come and go to. Taking a taxi directly from the airport worked for us. The grounds were nice and the room excellent. the shower etc. were state of the art.

In terms of value, Villa Foscarini was the most impressive. The room was spotless and the furniture very comfortable. The room rate was reasonable. The main building was a Doge's summer villa built in the 1700's and has been restored with loving care. This hotel is a 17 minute train ride into Venice, with the train station no more than a five minute walk away. After battling the tourists and sales people of Venice it was a pleasure to return to Villa Foscarini and enjoy the tranquil outdoor space and relax. Staff was pleasant and helpful, allowing us to check in at 10:00 a.m. when normal check-in time is 4:00 p.m. There is 24 hour front desk service which was extremely important when we needed a 5:00 a.m. wake-up call. I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel to any traveller and hope to one day return to further enjoy the ambience it offers.

The Villa Foscarini was a fabulous place to stay. The room was larger than anticipated and very clean, with a large desk, large armour,that locked,a safe inside of that. The bathroom was large with hair dryer, automatic shaving dispenser and a wonderful SPA shower and clean towels daily. It was very elegantly furnished, the grounds very picturisque, and all the staff very friendly,and spoke English. The continental breakfast included a large spread of pastries,cereals,cheeses,ham,fresh fruit,a juice machine that dispensed orange & grapefruit juices automatically. The coffee machine had several selections,regular decaf,lattes,etc, and if you wanted expresso, there was a staff person to make it for you. It was a very pleasant dining area with real china and you were never rushed. The village was quaint and everything was within walking distance from the Villa. The train station is only a 5 minute walk from there, so Venice is just a 20 minute ride from there.

Excellent hotel, convenient located, veryclose to the train station, 20 minutes from Venice, excellent price. This was my second time in this hotel and I will go again if I return aanother time to Venice.

Very good location for Venice and for one night stay! Good breakfast in garden during summer. For this price - very good hotel!

Well, if you like what is most bombastic and kitsch in Venezian style, you're right here. Reminds me of certain "classic-style" hotels on ghangzhou... - but: Treviso is near, Venice as well, and the service was very friendly.
