A tax has been imposed by the city for stays beginning 1 October 2012, and will be collected directly at the property. The tax ranges from EUR 1 to EUR 5 per person, per night. The amount has been determined by the local administration, depends on the star rating of hotel and the season of travel. This tax does not apply from the 6th consecutive night of stay onwards, to residents of Venice City and children under 10 years of age. Please note that further exemptions may apply. Venice Resort Hotel
Very convenient to Venice Airport but because we had an early morning flight, the taxi service cost 25 Euros for a 5-minute trip! You could NOT walk the distance though. FREE Internet service at the Hotel. It is an old house that has been made into a hotel. Not really a resort, per se. If on foot (we were), there is not much going on in general vicinity. Overall - good experience and good place.

Warm staff, warm setting.
Each time, the staff has gone the extra mile to make sure that I don't get lost going somewhere. Room was appointed in wood furniture that matched the vaulted wood-beam ceiling, there was a laptop to work on in the lobby, and the scrambled eggs and bacon were yummy! AND, it was quiet.

Make sure you eat at the restaurant right across the street. It doesn't look inviting, but the food was incredible!

Great location
great proximity to airport but you will have to spend 10 euro pp on a shuttle to Marco polo airport which isn't even 2 miles away. Other alternatives are about 16 euro for a cab or about 2.5 euro for a bus that's too far to drag your baggage to. Other then that rooms are nice and the place was very clean. Wifi didn't work too well depending on how far from the main building you are but did work well in the main building. Staff was friendly in the morning but didn't want to even serve me water when I was sweating around 10pm. Good luck!

5 minutes for the airport
I have had the good fortune to return to Venice several times and to have stayed here several times. The service is personal and warm. It is also just five minutes from the airport which is handy for an early morning departure.

Buy a couple more bus ticket trips than you think you might need, because the Tabacco shops where you buy them are sometimes closed before the buses stop running.

Good place close to the airport
I enjoyed my stay there, but was only there over night because it was close to the airport for an early morning flight. After arriving, I realized I could have stayed closer to the action because there are direct busses to the airport from the city, however, it's equally easy to take the bus to get to Venice from the hotel, too -- a round trip ticket from the hotel was under 3eur. I thought the room was too warm, but I couldn't turn on the cooling (I didn't ask for help, though). I thought the hotel was perfect for my needs.

There is a shuttle to the airport from the hotel for 10eur, but you could easily save some money by walking to the bus stop (stop at the tobacco shop to get a bus ticket for 1-2eur) and going that way.
