Grand Venetian style on the Rio Pruli canal
The Una Hotel Venezia is a historic building that faces the Rio Pruli canal. The hotel has been restored to its ancient grandeur represented in the classic Venetian style. The hotel features 37 rooms and has a well-appointed American bar. Spacious rooms offer a peaceful night of rest in the lovely old Una Hotel Venezia. Guests are only a short distance from the major tourist attractions for which Venice is famous. Gondolas float by on a regular basis and the gondoliers are always eager to show visitors the lesser-known parts of Venice.

Wonderful weekend getaway
Our stay at this hotel made for a wonderful weekend. The staff was attentive and friendly. The breakfast was a little bigger than the usual continental style you often find in hotels, with a few hot choices available. Also quite enjoyable was the complimentary evening wine, coffee, tea and snacks available in the lounge. Although it was a little hard to find, my husband is a great map reader thank goodness, it was very near (5 minute walk) to the water bus. A real bonus was the quiet, we never heard exterior or interior noises to keep us awake. Since we don't speak fluent Italian it was also nice that the TV even had a few English channels to keep up with the news. We highly recommend this hotel!

There are two very nice restaurants close by the hotel. Get to the main street, the one you cross to get to the hotel, and turn left. About 4/5 minutes walking will put you between 2 restaurants. The one on your right is wonderful and the other is very nice as well.

Superb
This hotel is an absolute gem. Talk about service with a smile this is the place that made up the phrase. Where else do you get given a choice of 5 different pillows and complimentary refreshments from early afternoon until late evening? The only downside is that it can be difficult to find - but then again hidden treasure very often is.

great hotel
This was a great hotel for Venice. It was only a few blocks from the Vaparrato and a block from a shopping area. We found it easily and liked that it was quiet and very clean. Breakfast was overwhelming - just about anything you wanted and the price for the room was fantastic. The staff was helpful in making reservations. We had the best food in Italy at a little restaurant a block from the Hotel!

The best dinner we had was by Ca'D'Oro - "Alla Venova" address 3912 in Cagnaregio in Venice. telephone 041.5285324. Make reservations or just get take out with several other locals - don't miss the meatballs!

Reasonable price, good location
Short walk from the Rialto bridge, near a main street but a block off it so it is quiet. Helpful, friendly desk staff spoke good English. Room was very nice but bathroom cramped. Would stay there again!

Hotel in sehr guter, ruhiger Lage von Canneregio
Das Personal, vor allem an der Rezeption, war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Doppelzimmer Standart verfügte über ein franz. Bett und war vom Raum her sehr klein. Aber da wir meistens unterwegs waren..... Insgesamt haben wir uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt und würden auf alle Fälle wieder in dieses Stadtvieltel gehen und wahrscheinlich auch im "Una" Quartier nehmen.

du 29/06/2012 au 02/07/2012 : Hotel pas évident à trouver (pour notre 1ère fois à Venise en fait), mais une fois qu'on a demandé son chemin et qu'on sait où il se trouve c'est super agréable. Personnel vraiment très sympa parlant français, on peut leur demander conseil sur quoi que ce soit, visite, resto, ils répondent très bien à toutes les questions, vraiment très serviable. La chambre était assez petite mais ce n'est pas ce que nous cherchions vu que nous étions là pour 3 jours c'était donc visite à fond. Chambre et salle de bain très propre, tout était niquel. Le matin petit déjeuner très correct et l'après midi en début d'am jusqu'au soir un buffet gratuit à volonté !!! comprenant petit gâteau sucré avec de l'eau, des jus de fruit, du vin et une sorte de champagne très bon à volonté !!! Sincèrement tout nous a séduit, autant la prestation des chambres que le personnel de l’hôtel, super agréable nous reviendrons avec plaisir !
