Nice hotel, good location, awful service
It's a nice hotel close to St Marco with spacious rooms. That's the good news. Unfortunately the receptionist could not have been more rude if she had tried. Such a let down for an expensive hotel. Also, do travel light as getting there from the train station can be quite a haul!

We got a nice suite in the middle
We got a nice suite in the middle of Venice, just on the S. Marco square, where we could enjoy the Venice's Carnival during the weekend. The big rooms and the excellent location gave us the real holiday experience we looked for and we loved it. The breakfast was good but too far from the room (you have to go to near by restaurant via many doors, stairs and across tunnels). Wifi was available only in the main lobby. The suite comes with a kitchen, but we could use a coffee/ tea kit in the room, and it wasn't there. The decoration was very nice and it was very clean.
