Luxury Venice hotel was former home to 18th century aristocrats

Ruzzini Palace Rooms

Guest Rooms
The standard rooms are the smallest in size, as there are very spacious rooms at this hotel, but they are very cosy and well appointed. They are furnished in an elegant style that is the product of a fusion of traditional Venetian and modern style, which is the recurrent theme all around the hotel. Some of the rooms have got a very unique design, with the bathroom, like a cocoon in the middle of the room, and the furnishings arranged all around it. The bed is always positioned facing the windows and in the majority of the rooms there is a service corner with table and chairs. There are also deluxe rooms and junior suites offering wider spaces.

Great Location

This hotel is fabulous. However, make sure you don't get the cheapest room like we did. You will end up on the first floor, next to the concierge desk, literally. Also, it's a handicapped room....the shower is a sit-down...and it pretty much flooded the bathroom every time we used it. The hotel itself was amazing though. Great breakfast, staff and bar. I would definitely recommend this to anyone seeking to be off the beaten path, but near enough to EVERYTHING to get the best of both worlds.

Fabulous Romantic Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was very spacious with a fantastic view! We were also kindly given a free upgrade to a delux room! Breakfast was provided, which was nice. Really close to San Marco's Square!

Best Stay Ever

They have done a great job renovating a century old palace...a good balance preserving the old and introducing the new...the price was absolutely the best for this kind of quality room....great bathroom with great water pressure!!...location was equidistant from Rialto and San Marco...Breakfast was amazing, and it was included in price! [...] and other front desk people were very helpful with directions, information and suggestions. Used to work for a major hotel chain so I have stayed at many Venice luxury hotels in old palaces. This stay at Ruzzini Palace was better than all those other experiences!

Great service!

My husband and me decided to begin our honeymoon in Venice and it was the best first impression ever. The hotel was convinintly located in an area that is closed to almost all the most importants sites to visit; breakfast was included and there was lots of variety for all kind of taste including champagne! The personnel was very helpful giving us all type of hints of places to visit and answering all our questions! For the gondola ride the personnel on the check in area found someone who picked us up on the area designated for boats on the hotel. The room was huge and very clean, mixing modern and. Antique look! The Rialto water bus station was very close and it was easy to get from there to the Ferrovia station to catch our train to Verona and Florence! Just the best experience!

Pleasantly Perfect!

The hotel provided wonderful service. The staff was extremely helpful and made sure that each person felt like a valued guest. Our stay at the Ruzzini Palace was the last stop on a trip of two other cities and far surpassed the other night's stays. The breakfast spread was fantastic, and they even provided us with breakfast to go, since our flight left before breakfast was to be served. The hotel provided a water taxi out to Murano to watch the expert glass blowing. I can not say enough great things about our stay in Venice!

Excellent Hotel and location

Hotel was conveniently located to all major sights but not in the middle of all the tourist crowds. My wife attended a very good classical Vivaldi concert just a few steps away across a quiet square.

Honeymoon Getaway

The hotel staff was above my expectations - they were very attentive to assist you in enjoying your stay and providing ideas for day trips. The location was excellent - close to all the major tourist attractions yet far enough to feel the quaint atmosphere of Venice. I would certainly return to this hotel and would recommend it for other travelers.
