A tax has been imposed by the city for stays beginning 1 October 2012, and will be collected directly at the property. The tax ranges from EUR 1 to EUR 5 per person, per night. Great location, slightly misleading
The website can be misleading as someone else did my booking and said check out the photos online. There are no photos apart from of the room because there is nothing else at this hotel. Most of the porters were friendly (one in particular was very helpful). Our room looked onto the gondola park which was lovely but we also had the Hard Rock Cafe thumping music until all hours! Had I realised what we were getting I would not have stayed here as it was very expensive. Breakfast is at the main hotel and is very basic served by some staff that look down their nose at you.

Long walk from hotel
Some of the restaurants in Venice are questionable. Lukewarm food, soggy chips and quite expensive too. The further you get away from St Marks Square the better we found the food. There is a service charge at some restaurants but the best restaurant we ate in didn't have one. It was further away by the Rialto Bridge and was the cheapest meal we had!

great location, wonderful view
Our room happened to be the largest room - I don't know how we lucked out - and it overlooked a short street that ended at the Grand Canal, so we had a wonderful view. The staff was very helpful. I wish we could have stayed longer. If you have trouble finding it, as we did, ask for the Hard Rock Cafe. It's around the corner from there and just around the corner from Piazza San Marco.

Best stay among three visits to Venice
Comfortabel room, excellent location, calm environment, close to shopping places, close to St Marco square; but breakfast is provided at another location that is not comfortable

Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, das
Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, das Personal sehr freundlich, die Lage ist einfach Spitze. Das Schwester Hotel zum Frühstücken war sehr gut vor allen die Lage, man saß direkt am Kanale Grande.

La ubicación del hotel es excelente,
La ubicación del hotel es excelente, a escasos 50 metros de la Plaza de San Marco. Sin embargo, es fácil no encontrarlo a la primera, ya que la entrada es una puerta similar a la de un portal. Las habitaciones son de un estilo moderno muy acogedor. El personal del hotel es muy atento, incluso facilita información al viajero sobre horarios de vaporetto, bus, etc. Hay que tener en cuenta que el desayuno se sirve en el Hotel Monaco, pero no es un problema ya que está muy cerca y las vistas sobre La Salutte son magníficas.
