- Rooms are of a superior standard to a 2-star hotel, they are spacious and luminous, featuring all the modern comforts, including air conditioning. Some offer a small terrace or sea views. Both rooms and bathrooms are in very good condition.

We have stayed here a total of six weeks since Easter 2009 - this speaks volumes for one of the very best holiday hotels we have experienced. The hotel is family-owned and run by the nicest of people. At the time of the plane groundings, they were exceptionally good to us. Friendliness, cleanliness and a first class cold buffet breakfast stand out. The hotel is situated on the Venice Lido, is less busy and more "local" than the "mainland", like living among real Italians. St Mark's (Venice's hub) is about 15 minutes away by boat. Also, immediately opposite the hotel is the beach which has the usual facilities and is a great attraction to Italian and tourists generally. We have no hesitation in recommending this excellent hotel for both short breaks and longer holidays.

Good stay on a budget
We were traveling on a budget and staying on the main island in Venice was out of the question. We were able to navigate back and forth from Rivamare to the main attractions fairly easily. If you are staying for a very short time, you may want to stay closer. From leaving the hotel to getting to St. Mark's Square, it probably took about 45 minutes, including time waiting for a bus on Lido and the water but from Lido to the main island. It met our purposes. Rooms were very basic but clean. Walls were a little thin.

Good value for the cost
THe Rivamare Hotel was very comfortable and the staff was excellent. THey had a lovely dining room/patio for the breakfast which was included in the price. Everything was clean and fresh and they had a notebook in the room in English with details for getting around, history etc. THe location was good-on the city bus line which goes to the ferry dock for travel to Venice and adjacent islands. We were within easy walking distance of shopping, restaurants and the beach.

Unkompliziertes nettes Service
Unkompliziertes nettes Service/Personal, für ital. Hotels großes Badezimmer und sehr sauber, angenehmer großer Frühstücksraum. Lage erscheint am Foto direkt am Meer - Strand aber nur über die Straße durch ein Tor erreichbar; gute Erreichbarkeit - man ist mit Bus und Vaporetto schnell in Venedig!

Hotel calme situé tout près des
Hotel calme situé tout près des plages de la mer Adriatique, personnel sympathique et accueillant, breakfast satisfaisant. Seul inconvénient, pour rentrer après 0 h 30, il y a un vaporetto toutes les 40 mn et il faut compter 20 mn de trajet et encore 10 minutes pour rentrer à l'hôtel en bus. Sinon, notre séjour était parfait !

Las habitaciones están limpias,
Las habitaciones están limpias, pero son muy pequeñas, por lo menos en la que yo estuve. El hotel está situado en la isla de Lido, pero despues de dejar el vaporeto con el que se viene de Venecia, todavia hay que coger un autobus para llegar al hotel.
