Nazionale is okay
The location is great for travel. It is near two water bus stops, the Aliguna, from the Marco Airport 13 Euros one way. You can get off of Guglie or Ferrovia. It is also just few hundred yards from the St Lucia train station. You have to do some walking to get to Rialto or Accaddemia. If you have a lot of luggage, there are a lot of stairs to the front desk with no elevator. Demand a bell hop to take your stuff up for you, don't break your back!

Dining tip:
Long walk from hotel
If you are hungry, don't do this, but if you can wait 30-40 minutes, I suggest eating at the restaurants along the canal by Rialto bridge, but it will take 30 min to walk from Nazionale hotel.

Excellent location
The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the train station, in a lively part of town but you don't hear any noise in your room. Good continental breakfast provided. Rooms are quite small but clean and comfortable. Bathroom clean and adequate. The only drawback is the fact that they advertised free Internet access in the room and this is not true: you can only access the web from the lobby and you have to pay for it.

Great location.
This hotel is close to the railway station and coach stop. The triple room had a single and a double bed, which is what we had expected, but when they realised we preferred three single beds that's what they gave us. The room and ensuite bathroom were clean and comfortable. Soap and shampoo were provided and the shower was better than many I have come across in hotels. The bedroom was not large but was adequate and who wants to spend too much time in the hotel room anyway, when there's the whole of Venice to explore? The continental breakfast buffet was good with a lot of choice. Remember this is a continental breakfast, so don't expect eggs and bacon or waffles! There were cereals, rolls, croissants, cheese, ham, hard boiled eggs, jam, yoghurt, tea, coffe and hot chocolate available each day, enough to set you up for the morning. The staff were friendly and spoke good English. Check out was at 10am, but we were allowed to leave our luggage until it was time to head back to the airport. We were all really satisfied with the accommodation and would use this hotel again and would recommend it to others.

Long walk from hotel
Buy food and drink for light meals at one of the supermarkets. Drinks in particular are much cheaper there. Also, wear comfortable shoes and walk around the areas off the beaten track, there's so much to explore and it's free. Younger travellers can get a Rolling Venice card which gives discounts for various things, especially the Vaporetto.

Great location for the price
The location is quite good - 2 blocks from the bus and train station and half a block from the Grand Canal. It was so easy to walk everywhere. It was an attractive hotel and the included breakfast was very nice. The room was small but otherwise the hotel and staff were very good. There was no free airport shuttle, but the 3 Euro bus ride dropped us off 2 blocks away.

The air condition in the room was not cold enough we had mosquito bites when we opened window at night. The breakfast was better than we though. The location is good, it is near the Venice SL Railway Station

Clean room for a reasonable price
Went on a 3-day trip with a friend. This hotel had good reviews so I decided to give it a try. Overall, the hotel was very close to the Railway Station (water taxi), which was very convenient to get to. Overall, it was a close walk (or water taxi ride) to get anywhere on the island, so location wasn't too important, although the ease of finding it was great since we arrived late at night (large, brightly lit sign). The rooms were small, and the hallways a bit noisy, but overall quite nice and definitely one of the better hotels I've stayed at in Venice for the price. The staff was quite friendly and spoke English, although some were definitely more helpful than others.

Friendly Economical Hotel
This was my fourth trip to Europe and 2nd time to Italy. The Hotel was a great location for a great price! It was within very easy walking distance from the Piazzale Roma and the train station and there is a water bus (vaporetto) right nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful! They spoke english and were very kind. Breakfast was the usual cereal, yogurt, meats, cheeses, croissants and rolls. I would book a stay here if you are looking for a reasonable priced hotel in a great location. Yes the rooms and bathrooms are small, but nothing unlike the rest of European Hotels.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
Go to Osteria Bancogiro right near the base of the Rialto Bridge! I've eaten there twice. Entree's run about 15-25 Euros, but it's my favorite restaurant in Venice. It's a stunning view with tables right on the Grand Canal probably about a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. All the restaurants around the hotel are very Americanized...spaghetti and pizza....Get out and ask the locals what else is great.
