Iris Hotel Venice

Hotel location is wrong on google maps. It's near San toma, but still hard to find. Calle del Christo. The hotel has one shared toilet on the first floor and three showers. All shared for the whole floor. There is lots of noise from a club behind the hotel. The description sounds nice, but that may only be accurate for a few of the rooms. There was no AC, no fans either. We had to keep the windows closed to keep out so many Mosquitos and club noise. It's a tomb.

It is hard to imagine that one could get a better location and than Hotel Iris in Venice. Staff was very helpful.

The airconditioner didn't work and no matter how many times you reported it nothing was done about it. VERY noisy. I not the noise from inside the hotel it was the resturant nextdoor....when the family closed the resturant at 2 am they always had their own party til very early in the morning.

The hotel is very simple, adequate for a couple of days, and centrally located (if a little hard to find). Overall the stay was suitable for my needs which was just a short break to the city.

No-frills accommodation, but in an excellent location, better than the train station area where so many budget hotels are located. Easy walk to most sights. If you don't expect the Ritz, and if they quote you a good price, this is an OK place to stay.

Hotel was great. Frinedly staff, helpful. Difficult to find, but great location in quiet area.

Mind you, some of the rooms dont have toilets and you maybe forced to share (if you get the econmy room). fantastic location but they make the most of their location by pricing rather high. Venice is hard ot find accomodation and most of the other things are expensive too (esp travel on the water bus). this hotel only serves bread/spreads, tea, coffee and juice for breakfast so beware!

It has a great central location on the Vaporetto line/Grand Canal. Quick walk from Vaporetto and in a quiet section of San Polo. Everything was pretty good to excellent except that the A/C doesn't work. It makes noise but doesn't blow air for some reason so after leaving the room all day with the A/C on we came back at night to a hotter than outside air room. We had to sweat the night away while sleeping - thank goodness the next night was a lot cooler and we kept the windows open throughout the day to air out the room. Also the bathroom for the room was exceptionally spacious given most bathrooms we had on our trip.

L’hôtel n'est pas propre, le petit déjeuner est limite. Pour les chambres ne disposant pas de leur propre salle de bain seul un WC est disponible à l'étage ainsi que 2 salles d'eau de la taille d'un placard, elles sont très sales et vétustes. Pour les chambres disposant de salle de bain et TV. La TV fonctionne mais il n'y a pas d'antenne donc pas d'images quant à la salle de bain il faut vérifier s'il y a de l'eau chaude et si non la demander.

フロントの方の対応は感じが良かったです。少しわかりにくい場所にありますが、S.Tomaの船着場から近く、不便さは感じませんでした。運河側に面した部屋と路地側に面した部屋があり、路地側の部屋でした。近くにレストランがあるせいか、夜遅い時間もうるさかったです。日本人の感覚だと清潔さ、設備ともやや劣る感がありますが、全般的にホテル代が高いVeneziaにおいて、この価格、サービスなら良いかと思います。
