A tax has been imposed by the city for stays beginning 1 October 2012, and will be collected directly at the property. The tax ranges from EUR 1 to EUR 5 per person, per night. The amount has been determined by the local administration, depends on the star rating of hotel and the season of travel. Amazing!
The Charming House was a highlight for us in Venice. It's like a mini W Hotel in the best area of Venice. The room (Jr. Suite) was amazing and the neighborhood was perfect for us since we wanted to be far away from the masses in San Marco Square and close to the Peggy Guggenheim museum (another highlight). The staff was very friendly the breakfast options were perfect. If I had one wish I would have a hands free shower (I'm not a bath or hand held shower person). A tad pricey for us, but we knew it was high seaons and we took a chance and I cannot recommend this place enough.
