Excelent location
I really close from the train station y the overral is good, the internet acces is only in the lobby. I will try a another hotel for the price.

Excellent location, great service and good size room for an italian hotel. Unfortunately there was no computer with internet access available to guests.

Good Venice Spot
Hotel is very nice and nicely decorated. It is quiet and peaceful. Breakfast is good. Its location is good, on the grand canal but it is not fabulous. Overall, it was a good experience.

Very rude, service terrible, ,,,,
i choose this hotel because of its 4 star rating but all the clerks working on the front desk were so rude and gave us unpleasant feeling. do not choose this hotel!!! breakfast was so terrible too.. you d better buy some food from near market. it is located in front of water but you will not see any water thru window anyway.. i stayed there between 3rd to 5th oct. 2009.

good location
just got off cruise ship,took cab to Piazzale Roma,walked over the bridge and there was the Hotel.Great staff,very nice room and immaculate bath.good breakfast the next morning.Staff was very helpful.Went across other bridge got on water bus.went all the way up the Grand Canal got off on St.Marks Square,love the water bus,got a 24 hour pass.Took it many times in one day.

A great value
The hotel is in a quiet area, but if you do not mind walking or taking the water services it is a perfect location! The hotel breakfast was a great way to start every morning. And the staff was always very helpful and spoke fluent English.

In Hotel
Be sure to ask at the front desk for the "promotional" FREE water taxi ride to Burano. Although they leave you at only one glass blowing facility, you can easily exit the gates and explore the island, then return back to the facility for the free ride back to Venice.

Literally the other side of the
Literally the other side of the Grand Canal from Santa Lucia Railway Station the hotel was ideally positioned for us as we used Eurail Travel Passes to move around Europe. The Concierge was extremely helpful and our stay was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and varied.

Just over the canal from the train
Just over the canal from the train station. Be aware if you have heavy bags you need to get them over a large bridge. Hotel very clean and tidy. Not in the centre of Venice but everywhere is nice and close for walking

Enjoyable stay
Reasonably convenient to Piazzale Roma ( bus terminal ), the train station, water bus station and the cruise ship docks ( we caught a cruise from Venice so this was significant ). Only three small bridges to cross from the bus terminal. Private water taxi mooring directly in front of the hotel ( water taxis are expensive but worth the investment for certain situations ). Access is an important issue in Venice as your options are either water taxi or walking, mostly walking. Bridges have steps not ramps so they dictate the accessibility ( imagine dragging your wheeled luggage over them ), also most walkways are cobblestone. If you stay here and are interested in Gothic Cathedrals be sure to visit the small cathedral just across the Grand Canal from the hotel, it is well worth the visit. We feel that this hotel is a little pricey but overall it was worth it.

Short walk from hotel
There is a main water bus station just across the Grand Canal from the hotel with a major bridge close by. From this station you can access virtually anywhere in Venice although the water bus is a bit of an adventure....sort of like herding cattle.
