Good hotel overal; location is great if you dont mind the walk to the tourist attractions. The rooms are fine - clean, comfortable, avg decor. But they are not as good as those shown in the pictures!

Book a meal the the old Poste - a fish restaurent near the fish market - excellent if a little pricey.

Traditional Venecian Comfort
Hotel is in great location. Quick wallk from train station. Hotel is very clean and in quiet area also close to water bus landing. Unfortunately today and yesterday the water busses were on strike so we put on many miles walking over 80% of the Island. It almost seemed like a blessing because it forced us to go out of our way and say many of the bueatiful museams and churches off he beaten path. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Only wish was that wireless was available in rooms and not mjust in the bar area. Staye here many years ago and would definately stay here again. Ciao BABY!

Many of the shops have the same items but prices range greatly. If your not in a hurry, mark the shops where you found the goods you liked and look around for similiar items in less pupulated areas. We saved up to 70%.

It is a very nice hotel with excellent location sitting by the Grand Canal. It is easy to come and go by the train just across the canal. The boat taxi is within short walk across the bridge. We were there for a couple of nights and the room size is OK with us as we were in a triple room. Breakfast is good. Free Wi-Fi is available in the bar area. However, it is bit too expensive.

hotel near train station in venice
very nice hotel.it is just across the bridge from the train station.excellent buffet breakfast.it was nice to discover quiet areas of venice near the hotel. there are many restaurants and shops that are less expensive than the san marco area.it was extremely hot and humid in venice and the hotel air conditioning was a welcome necessity.recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very centrally located, right across from the train station and local boat transportation system. The hotel is very well kept and service was very good.

Good location but small bedrooms and most of the doubles are two single beds pushed together. Not what id expect from a 4* hotel

Wonderful get away
The hotel is keenly located in front of the Santa Lucia Train Station on the Grand canal. Its staff was very professional meeting all of our requests with kind service and showed concern for our satisfaction while staying at the Hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean. We would readily stay at this location in the future because you can easily reach all key destinations in Venice.

The Hotel staff provided excellent choices to attend opera or classical music events and even helped make our reservations on the spot.

Great service, Small Rooms
The hotel was pretty nice, I don't know that it deserves it's 4 star rating. The only thing the hotel really had going for it was a clerk who spoke really good English, exchanged money and had breakfast. The rooms where very small the bed took up most of it so it was hard to unpack. The beds where split in the middle which is common in the country but I hate it!
