The Hotel is situated in the heart of the romantic city of Venice, in a very quiet position despite the fact it is just 200 m from the beautiful St. Mark's Square and the famous Rialto Bridge. It is the ideal starting point to set off through the alleys to discover the wonderful monuments and typical shops which hide all the ancient, fascinating mysteries of Venice. The hotel takes its name from the famous Venetian artist, Antonio Canal, who was known as Canaletto. Those rooms where the artist used to live (1697-1768) have now become our elegant hotel rooms. A friendly, elegant, romantic and quiet atmosphere furnished in typical 18th century Venetian style, with stuccowork, damask, hand lacquered and gilded furniture, Murano glass mirrors and lamps. All rooms are soundproofed and have private bathroom with shower or bath, air conditioning, telephone, minibar, sat TV, hair dryer and safe. There are also our superior rooms with views of the canal or the typical square with the well-curb. The elegant public rooms (breakfast room, bar, TV room, internet point) are all decorated with stuccowork and the antique smoothed lime finish, and have some lovely reproduction of Canaletto's works on the walls.

A tax has been imposed by the city for stays beginning 1 October 2012, and will be collected directly at the property. The tax ranges from EUR 1 to EUR 5 per person, per night. The amount has been determined by the local administration, depends on the star rating of hotel and the season of travel. This tax does not apply from the 6th consecutive night of stay onwards, to residents of Venice City and children under 10 years of age. Please note that further exemptions may apply. We chose the canal view room which was fantastic with a bedromm upstairs on a loft. Great decor and very handy to central Venice. the restrurant next door is also very good.

Hôtel très correct

Hôtel très bien situé dans le centre de Venise. Très propre, impeccable. Petit déjeuner très correct. Attention, il faut éviter les chambres au-dessus du restaurant et ceci même en hiver. Le personnel est plus obséquieux que vraiment aimable et efficace.

Hotel au calme

4 nuits dans cet hotel tres calme et tres bien situé (5 mn du Rialto, 5 mn de San Marco) chambres confortables, personnel aux petits soins, Petit dejeuné copieux, prix en basse saison interessant. je donne 4 étoiles

NOEL A VENISE

J'ai passé un agréable séjour à l'hotel CANALETTO chambre très propre et personnel disponible et emplacement idéal tout près du pont du Rialto et Place St Marco Prochain rendez-vous dans cet hôtel pour le carnaval au mois de février

exellent

très bon rapport qualité prix. Personnel prévenant, courtois, polis mais discret. Le seul petit bmol c'est qu'au moment de la réservation je n'ai pas pu préciser 1 lit deux personnes et nous avons eux une chambre avec des lit jumeaux. Il est très bien situé. SANDRINE

EXELLENT SEJOURS

Hotel tres bien situé, au coeur de VENISE,propre ,bien insonnorisé ,petit dej correct, les moins..internet payant ,alors que dans tous les bars et restaurants c'est gratuit !! un ecran de television vraiment trop petit posé presque par terre !!!!!

Hôtel très bien situé

Cet hôtel est très bien situé, dans un endroit calme. Les petits déjeuners sont très corrects et le personnel aimable et très efficace. Magnifique séjour dans Venise qui n'usurpe pas son surnom de "Sérénissime"! Seul petit bémol, nous étions 4 personnes dans une chambre idéale pour 2 personnes...

sejour pour le carnaval de venise

hotel bon a tout point de vue * confort * petit dêjeuner copieux * accueil chaleureux * hotel calme *et super bien situé a peine 10mn du Rialto et de la place st Marc je vous invite a retenir le nom de cette hotel que je recommande
