It's ok, there are much better

The location is great but hard to find on a side street. The breakfast is terrible and crowed. One staff member actually said he hated tourist and the local restaurants are all dirty not to eat in them. The bathroom is tiny and they don't use toilet rolls only tiny sheets. They did give us a nice breakfast to go when we asked because we checked out early.

Pay a little more but the food is great by the Railto bridge. There are some good ones.

Great Stay in Venice

Highly recommended. Location was close to Piazza San Marco and Rialto Bridge. (Make sure to print map prior to arrival to locate place easily or ask hotel which drop-off is closest to them.) Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was included. Concierges were helpful. We had an early morning check out and the concierge offered to quickly pack us a "breakfast basket" to go, which was very much appreciated.

good location

Situated between the Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge, this was a good location for venturing in many desirable directions. The staff was helpful. Very nice breakfast area with plentiful food items.

Entertainment tip: Short walk from hotel

An evening at an opera at Grande Scuola is a short walk. Also, it was a short walk to enjoy the nighttime music presentations in Piazza San Marco.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Don't buy food and drinks for the first deli etc you find. Stock up on water, juices and snacks from a Coop or general dealer. As you walk around browse menus and pricing, generally the further away from the main streets the better value for money you get.

Loved This Hotel

My husband and I LOVED this hotel. It was a very nice boutique hotel centrally located between the Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge. Hotel staff all spoke perfect English and were very helpful with maps and directions and the front desk had someone available 24 hours a day. Our room was large and clean and decorated in a Venetian style, though we could have used more closet space. The bathroom was modern and had a hair dryer. Breakfast each morning had a nice selection of foods (cheeses, meats, cold cereals, rolls, croisants, yogurt etc)and teas and coffee. There was enough of a selection to please most everyone. We would definitely recommend this hotel to other people.

Sightseeing tip: Not Applicable

If you get a chance take a boat ride to Morano, Borano and Torcello Islands. Definitely worth the time.
