Completely restored during 2002 /03 the Hotel C Formenta is situated at the beginning of Via Garibaldi right in the pulsating heart of Venetian life, one block from the Biennale Pavilions and ten minutes' walk to San Marco Square. The hotel has its own private wharf on the Rio della Tana, which is very convenient for motorboat taxi; the closer public boat pier is Arsenale, serviced by Alilaguna Blue Line and ACTV lines 1 and 4.1. The hotel amenities are: buffet breakfast, baby sitting service (request), bar, concierge, disabled facilities, flat screen TV, free internet access-wireless, laundry service, lift/elevator, lobby, non-smoking rooms, room service, safe deposit box, smoke free hotel, tour desk. A tax has been imposed by the city for stays beginning 1 October 2012, and will be collected directly at the property. The tax ranges from EUR 1 to EUR 5 per person, per night. The amount has been determined by the local administration, depends on the star rating of hotel and the season of travel.
