Ca Dei Conti Hotel Venice

We stayed for two nights before a cruise & were very surprised to have a lovely bath in our room, the room was less spacious but adequate for our needs. We then returned for a further two nights, after the cruise, to a much more spacious, quiet bedroom but only a shower. the staff were very friendly & attentative & the position of the hotel very good, quite central to everything we wanted to do.

Beautiful hotel, convenient on the canal so water taxi can come right to the door and easy to get to airportm, room furnishings were lovely, technology is current; breakfast was tasty

We were in Venice to take photographs but it rained five days out of seven. However, our room (in a separate building, round the corner from the main hotel) was very spacious (more like a suite). It had its own safe and fridge with mini-bar. The breakfast buffet offered a wide choice of tasty fresh food. The staff were all very helpful and efficient. The hotel is very centrally located but in a quiet location, apart from the passing gondoliers (but then you are in Venice). The only facility missing in the room was a means of making tea or coffee (take your own). The bathroom was fitted with excellent contemporary facilities. We would choose this hotel again.

The hotel is lovely, the position also. The rooms are very nice, the bathrooms also. The staff is not very friendly. They tried to give us a single room instead of a double room and also for breakfast they wanted us to eat in seperate tables, quite upsetting.

The location of the hotel was brilliant, central to St Mark's Square and within walking distance of major attractions. The staff were extremely helpful and upgraded us to a suite which was greatly appreciated as we had been travelling for three weeks and it was wonderful to have extra room to spread out.

I loved this hotel. We stayed in the Querini building which is a short walk from the main hotel and receptionist. The room was very private and large with a large shower and decorated elegantly. The breakfast was pretty typical, just enough to get us going. The location was great and was just a 5 minute walk to waterbus and San Marco. They had a computer in the office with internet that you can use for minimal price. The hotel is a little tricky to find the first time; Here's how to get there: From the train station take the #1 waterbus to San Zaccarria, go to the left and then turn right up the street before the bridge. When you get to the end, go left a few feet, then an immediate right; when you see the deadend ahead at another hotel, turn left through what looks like an alley. This goes into a small open area where there is a tunnel to the right pointing to "Rialto". As you enter the tunnel, the hotel will appear before you! Enjoy!

Positif : localisation, petit-déjeuner et propreté de la salle de bains. Négatif : pour un 4 étoiles, nous étions logés dans une chambre sous les toits :espace très réduit donc, il fallait éviter de se cogner la tête. Le lit était coincé entre 3 murs : il fallait y aller à 4 pattes au fond et enjamber son conjoint pour se lever pendant la nuit. Cette chambre ne correspond pas à un 4 étoiles annoncé.

all'ultimo momento con 1 ora di preavviso siamo stati spostati in un altra struttura per probelemi tecnici?!la nuova struttura non era dello stesso livello di quella prenotata con grande rammarico. il giorno successivo siamo stati obbligati a un cek out fuori orario con ulteriori disagi. non consiglio a nessuno la struttura vista la poca serietà e professionalità dimostrata.
