Venice 2010
Overall it was good, the location was great - about halfway between the St. Lucia station and St Mark's square. The only downside was that the second bed in the room was a mattress on slats, 2 of which fell and would not stay in place, so it was like sleeping on an old style pull out couch mattress. Expected better for the price. Staff was friendly and breakfast looked great (we woke up too late to have it).

You get what you pay for
We picked this hotel based on location and cost, plus breakfast provided. The breakfast was good although fresh fruit would have been a nice addition. Coffee was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The roof top deck was lovely. However the "triple" room was very small and one bed was a rollaway. The bed covers could have been cleaner. Although the hotel is on a noisy lane, the windows were effective at sound proofing. However since the air conditioning was less than adequate the noise proved to be a problem. Next time we will pay the extra to stay in a higher rated hotel.

a real find
The only negative about this hotel is that it is somewhat hard to find, but after finding it we were very pleased. The hotel is small and the service is friendly. Staff are very helpful (they helped us locate lost luggage). It was quiet and within walking distance of all the major Venice attractions. The beds were great and the place was spotless. Small rooms - but who spends time in the room when you are in Venice.

Short walk from hotel
Be sure to have some Euros because many of the restaurants do not accept credit cards. A great breakfast is provided by the hotel and is included in the cost of the room.

ottima la stanza, molto spaziosa
ottima la stanza, molto spaziosa e con un bagno confortevole, la posizione ottima, viene preparata una colazione buona ed abbondante, non ci sono stati inconvenienti
