Time-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
go to the Lido station and buy multiple day pass to save money, as you will be using the vaporeto to move from one point to the other

Fantastic hotel and location
This was the start of a 9 day cruise to the Mediteranean Sea so we arived two days early. We walked, shopped and took a tour of Venice. The hotel was very very clean, the people were courteous and the area of Lido was fantastic. The area is like a quiet little village compared to Venice. The water buses are a little hard to get used to but that is your only transportation.

Ladies who lunch
An Honest review
Our room was in one wing of the hotel which was not the standard demonstrated on the web site. When we arrived the staff told us that there were two ratings of room and booking through e bookers gave you a lower standard of room. The room was very small and did not have tea and coffee making facilities as stated on the web site. The bathroom was amazingly small but very clean. However the carpet in the room could have done with a clean. Breakfast was good. Staff varied in helpfulness. The hotel was well placed for journeying into Venice and the islands and was convenient for restaurants. Hotel was on quiet side street.

Exceptional Hotel
Lido is a gorgeous island convenient by bus/boat to Venice, and this hotel is truly exceptional, a great value for the money. It is very quiet since it located a block from the main strreet. It is odd that the [...] ad describes the breakfast as a 'cold' breakfast, when it is in fact complete and outsanding. The TV is marginal. Free Wifi.

The restaurants in Lido are also a great value.There is a special boat that goes directly from LIdo to the Venice (San Marco) airport.
