The Bella Venezia Hotel Venice is in a 16th-century Venice palace that was beautifully restored and renovated in 2006. An absolute gem of a hotel
We had a warm welcome on arrival at the Bella Venezia, which has an amazing central location. The room was gorgeous, a nice size with beamed ceiling, shuttered windows, flat screen TV, bathroom with fluffy robes and slippers, toilettries were provided including toothbrush & toothpaste! The air con / heating system was easily operated by a touch pad in the room, once switched on by reception. Breakfast is the best i've had anywhere in Italy! Choices included fruit, cereals, yoghurts, cheeses, meats, breads, pastries, eggs, bacon, sausages, croissants, preserves, cakes, juices and many teas and coffees to choose from, with excellent service, quite simply superb! Well done Bella Venezia, we'll be back.

Short walk from hotel
Eat at the restaurants close to the hotel, they are considerably cheaper than the ones around St.Marks Square. We had our best meal a few doors down from the Bella Venezia.

should have booked earlier
Very hard to find - it would be impossible in the dark! Not air conditioned and no screens on the windows so it was very hot and buggy. Tiny and run down. Also, it was not at the hotel - it was at their Annex building around the corner. It was close to Piazza San Marco. Breakfast was good.

Hotel très bien placé
Notre chambre était dans l'annexe ,elle est correctement isolée mais assez petite,l'équipement de la chambre et de la salle de bains est complet .Le buffet du petit déjeuner est bon et bien garni. L'hôtel est très bien situé à quelques dizaines de mètres du pont du Rialto et à 10/15 minutes, à pied de la place San Marco,c'est l'endroit idéal pour partir à la découverte de Venise.

Alles war hervorragend!
Sehr geschmackvoll und nicht amerikanisch kitschig. Frühstück war für italienische Verhältnisse wirklich gut und ausreichend. Bedienung war freundlich und die Zimmer sehr sauber.
