Wireless useless!!!!!!! Staff overworked. Somewhat a fraud. Breakfast more cafeteria than restaurant. Location terrific for an over populated tourist destination but technology essentials are worse than erratic and unreliable. Owners think they can fool guests with extraordinary physical site and extremely pleasant staff. Dial back your service culinary expectations and you will have a decent stay in Venice.

AMAZING HOTEL
This hotel is wonderful. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and not over decorated. The rest of the hotel property is absolutely beautiful. The gardens are stunning. The staff was amazing and met our every need. I honestly felt like royalty. I was so sad to leave. We didn't use the spa but if it was like everything else I'm sure it's wonderful. The location is perfect as it is not right in the heart of things so after a long day of wondering the streets of Venice with tons of people you can relax in seclusion. They have a private water shuttle which runs back and forth from the hotel to the main island approx every fifteen minutes so it's very easy to get around. Will definitely stay here again.

Make sure you see St Marks Square at night. It's way less crowded and is so beautiful. Also avoid any restaurants which have "tourist" set menus. The food is gross and it's a rip off. Wonder away from the main tourist area and you will get much better food. Hotel also gives great restaurant recommendations.

perfect getaway hotel
Did not know anything about Venice or the bauer palladio hotel. The hotel was beautiful and smelled of lavender. The staff was great and the room wonderful. Definitely a five star hotel. The restaurant was good and reasonable this included a buffet breakfast that was excellent and well needed for a full day in Venice. Did not know if I would like the hotel shuttle to the island but i really enjoyed the ride back, away from the crowds in Venice.. Shuttle was on time every half hour. Perfect romantic stay. Highly recommend.
