BEST WESTERN Htl Villa Mabapa

The Hotel Mabapa is located within walking distance from the vaporettos that take you to the different ports of Venice. It offers free parking for hotel guests, which is quite necessary if bringing or renting a car while touring Italy. The head staff member was English speaking and extremely helpful in explaining which vaporetto line to take and what ticket plans were the most cost efficient. All other staff members were friendly and showed a hospitable attitude, despite our inability to communicate well with one another. A clean hotel that included breakfast. Also, this hotel is great if traveling with a small-sized furry companion, but would recommend bringing a cage or kennel of sorts when staying with your dog. Only the reservation price is questionable, but then again, the reservation was during the opening weekend of Carnevale. Will go back!

Hotel was just ok, the toilet was under the sink, at least half was. Shower was dirty. Staff was rude and set us up to be ripped off. They tell you they set up a free tour of a glass factory on an island and provide free water taxi. The glass factory is a complete rip off. High pressure sales and they don't let you leave until you buy something. At the end of tour they have cheap room of glass stuff to buy with cheaper prices. I bought a glass plate for 40 euros. We finally get a ride back to venice and find the same plate for 15 euros. After talking to several glass shop owners in Venice, we found out the hotel gets 50 euros for each person they send over to the factory. Also found out if I had not bought anything, I would have had to find my own ride off the island. Complete scam and the hotel should be ashamed of themselves for preying on their guests. the hotel in on the lido island, you have to take the ferry there and then a water taxi to visit Venice.

This hotel has been a favourite since 1982 , and still never disappoints . The dining prices are at the top end of the hotel range , but then so is the whole of Venice , and the standard is 1ST Class.Easy access for the airport and Lido waterbus services excellent for the islands .The golf course is well worth a visit, and the cycle ride around the Lido equally good.

Acceuil froid. Aucun effort pour répondre à nos questions sur la découverte des sites à visiter. Personnel vraiment pas aimable,limite politesse. Dans la chambre les tasses et cuillères n'ont jamais été nettoyées.
