Great antiquity everywhere

It was a great location and you could walk to so many interesting places or just walk around the streets and take in the wonderful old buildings. The elevator and air conditioning were a big plus although you could walk the steps easily. The staff spoke English well and were helpful. Breakfast was good. it was really nice to have a place near everything so that if you got tired you had a place to relax and cool off.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

It was so much better to stay on the island as it was convenient and was not anymore costly as costs kept adding up if you made the trip from the mainland. The water taxi pass is definitely worth the price and taking the people mover was 1 euro to get to the area to purchase it.

Excellent price, excellent location,

Excellent price, excellent location, very nice stuff (even though their English could be a bit better). We loved it there very much - if next time in Venice, definitely would try this hotel again.

We were in an annexe which was over 100 yards from the hotel the room was very clean but access to the appartment was grubby. Breakfast was very good and plentiful served by helpful staff. Location very close to St Marks.

Great Location, great service.

Wonderful Location, just 2 min from St.Mark's Square. Rooms were small and maybe an issue if you travel with kids. The service was wonderful.

Very Average Stay

The location is great (very close to San Marco Square) and that's the reason we booked this. The hotel rooms are below average and overall infrastructure was found to be poor. No internet working in the rooms -only in the common lounge. The staff was not friendly unlike the other hotel we stayed in Florence in the same trip.Breakfast was nothing to write home about. Laundry was very expensive. Overall not sich a good experience.

There are two outdoor restaurants right at the San Marco Square with nice band and good food and wine. This was a wonderful experience.

Venice hotel stay

We travel to Venice. We would not recommend Antico Panada Hotel to anyone. The hotel was not what we expected. The wallpaper was peeling off of the walls and the room was very small actually very tiny. The TV was very small. The free continental breakfast was terrible. The hotel was at a great location and that was about the only positive experience we had at the hotel.

reciption people are not friendly

reciption people are not friendly and don't have good attitude. Price of internet is too high, and breakfast is not good enough in comparing of hotel price and its' degree. Location is very good.
