The Antiche Figure Hotel Venice is in a 15th century palazzo overlooking the Grand Canal, near the main entrance to the city and convenient to the Venice Santa Lucia railway station. Yorkshire Italy lovers
great hotel fantastic location
Excellent location only 2 bridges away from the bus terminal and opposite the train station. Ideal if you are planning trips. Breakfast taken by the side of the Grand Canal nice and early before the trippers arrived! Our room overlooked the Canal but please take insect repellent!

This hotel was Bed and breakfast so try the restaurants away from the tourist trail as eating out was very expensive. Two pizzas, a shared bottle of beer and an ice cream each = 40 euros.

We were lucky enough to be upgraded
We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite when we arrived at the hotel and this made our stay even more delightful. The hotel is perfect - in a great position - and with charming, helpful staff - we visited some good trattorias on their recommendation and they also had good suggestions for sightseeing. We can't wait to go back to this hotel and beautiful Venice.

Excellent Venice Hotel ! Very
Excellent Venice Hotel ! Very friendly and helpful reception, king size beds, beautiful bathroom and very good breakfast. Had booked a 3 beds bedroom for my wife and our 15-year old son and the reception offered to change for a canal vue bigger room with a bigger bathroom for additional 30.- euros per day. Took the offer and was really worth it. The hotel is located in front of a gondola "stop" and close to the vaporetto stations.

GREAT LOCATION & PLACE TO STAY
The hotel is great. it si right accrose from teh train station, they offer free internet and brakfast. The management is AMAZING. I would stay here again on a trip to Venice. You can't beat the service and location for this price. No nickle and diming. They even let me come back late in the afternoon to use the internet. They are a first class operation

Awesome
Hotel staff was excellent: Very helpful, willingly helpful. Gave excellent suggestions on sites to visit with map. Had a little coffee bar with excellent capucinno and hot chocolate. Located on the Grand Canal across from Train Station and Water Bus. Always easy to find way back to: Via Ferrovia! Room was small but sufficient for two people. Bathroom was fantastic. Free breakfast was okay. Loved the architecture of the hotel..inside and out. Made our first trip to Venice especially great!

Outstanding Service
This was one of the best hotels we have stayed in. We were in a suite, which was very nice. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The location on the Grand Canal made it easy to get around the city. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Venice.

If you are staying for 3 days, be sure and buy the 72 hour pass for riding the boats around the city. It makes getting around the city so much easier, and you never have to worry about getting tickets at the last minute. Just validate your pass and hop on.This pass pays for itself after only a few rides, and gives you great freedom to move around Venice.

Short walk from hotel
Spent 4 nights in Venice.......more than enough time to see all the sights. So happy we did not stay in San Marco....it was incredibly touristy and packed. The location of the Antiche is ideal....easy to get to and from, and yet away from the crowds. I would not recommend spending more than 3-4 days in Venice...after a few days, the gondolas, tacky gift stores selling masks and murano glass trinkets, and the throngs of tourists gets a little old. On the other hand, Venice is a unique and beautiful city for a short stay.

Perfect location and lovely hotel
Our room was ready when we arrived to check in. It was a hot and humid day and we were so thankful for the air conditioned room! The room was lovely, the bed comfortable and the bath was sparkly clean. We enjoyed our breakfast at the hotel. The location was perfect and it was easy to walk from the hotel to the various parts of town with the good instructions from the staff. They booked a water taxi (for a group we had met) for transportation to our cruise ship. There were lots of good places for dining or a gelato! We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Venice. The location was perfect, especially for joining a cruise.
