A tax has been imposed by the city for stays beginning 1 October 2012, and will be collected directly at the property. The tax ranges from EUR 1 to EUR 5 per person, per night. The amount has been determined by the local administration, depends on the star rating of hotel and the season of travel. This tax does not apply from the 6th consecutive night of stay onwards, to residents of Venice City and children under 10 years of age. Please note that further exemptions may apply. The washbasin is in the bedroom, while the bathroom is shared on the same floor.

- The area of the Salute is a location that stimulates the contemplative side of every visitor. Perhaps this is why Ezra Pound and Allen Ginsberg chose to put down roots right here. Ezra lived for two years in the Hotel alla Salute; Allen found a house a little further away. The two poets were in the habit of meeting each other in the Hotel garden.

Budget Traveller
Budget accomocations
This is a budget or economy hotel. If that is what you want then that is what you will get. No A.C. and no screens on windows so expect to leave windows open to not get too hot at night and expect mosquito bites. Matress springs were worn, so expect to sink into the bed. Telephone did not work. No iron or TV. You will hear all the noise outside of your room. No wake up call. Far from main bus/train station.

Loved Venice
Great location, but lousy hotel
This hotel is very convenient, but that''s it. If you stay here, be prepared for a bed and a small shower in your old, outdated, cramped room. Lots of things broken. No airconditioning. No TV. No amenities. And the toilet down the hall. We would not stay here again.

Not a good experience
We get to the hotel late at night and realized the it wasn't 3 stars, it is 2 ,and there wasn't air conditioning, there where 2 shared bathrooms and 1 of those was broken so it took a long walk to the bathroom and af course it wasn't clean because it was the only one aveilable

Adequate accomodations
Rooms were nice, quiet, and clean. Towels, shampoo and soap was provided, shared bathroom was clean. Staff was friendly.

good location, budget accomodations
Hotel is good for one or two night when your priorytet is sightseeing. Forget if you want make romantic weekend. Its only 2 stars hotel, however staff - very nice, breakfast - was good (delicious croissants). Average hotel. I Recommend this hotel but not for maximal price :)

Alla Salute
A scenic walk from the Salute water taxi station when taking the water ferry which is located directly accross from the train station. Make sure you have a map showing the streets and bridges, then its an easy walk! Alla Salute Hotel is located directly on the canal in beautiful location and restaurants next door and easy walk to anywhere. They have storage available for luggage, Our room was large and had a private bath down the hall. The rooms can get warm even with the windows open and There is no air conditioning but the hotel provided a fan on request. I would definitely stay again.

If you are looking for an antiseptic experience this is not the hotel for you.But if you want an antiseptic experience you should probably not visit Venice. If you're relaxed and open and want to experience Venice in a natural way try it. One of the nicest places I've ever stayed at in Venice, a notoriously expensive city, given the price. Spectacular quiet and convenient canal location near the Peggy Guggenheim Museum. Yes QUIET, no tourist mobs or gift shops. You really feel like you are in a real Venetian neighborhood. Wonderful helpful smiling staff and large varied breakfast. Quests are mostly young, attractive and well behaved with a sprinkling of seniors like me.

Huom! Hotelli on vain **
Hotelli on ihan ok, mutta yleisesittelyssä siitä saa liian hyvän kuvan. Se ei ole missään tapauksessa kolmen tähden hotelli. Virallisesti hotellin ulkopuolella on merkintä **. Saimme vaihdettua huoneemme classiciksi lisämaksusta 25 e/yö, koska ebookersin kautta otettuna huoneeksi tulee automaattisesti havempi economy-huone jaetulla wc-kylpyhuoneeella. Huoneemme oli todella pieni, eikä siinä mahtunut avaamaan edes matkalaukkua kuin parisängyn päällä. Ikkunanäkymä oli naapuritalon seinään. Huoneessa oli moni asia rikki, eikä pienimpiäkään vikoja (esim. ehjä hiustenkuivaaja) edes haluttu korjata. Aamiaisen laatu vaihteli viikon aikana huomattavasti. Ulkopiha oli täynnä romua verhon takana sekä ahneita puluja, minkä takia aamiainen kannatti syödä sisällä. Sinällään henkilökunta oli ystävällistä, mutta jäi tunne, ettei tätä hotellia haluta hoitaa kunnolla.

Déçus
Constat de la chambre à notre arrivée: Chambre très basique. Salle de bain envahie de moucherons, avec bien une quizaine de moucherons sur le sol (chambre non nettoyée à l'arrivée donc). Matelas peu confortable (en guise de lit, 2 matelas l'un à côté de l'autre). Nuit: on entend tous les bruits de la rue, et de la réception (dans la chambre du bas). Concernant le petit-déjeuner, correct, buffet divers. Quant au personnel, serveur sympa, la majorité des réceptionnistes aussi. L'emplacement est bien situé. Nous nous attendions juste à un peu plus de confort pour le prix.

Hotel bien placé
Nous avons été pendant une période relativement chère... (nouvel an), mais l'hotel est très bien placé. Les chambres ne sont pas top, mais quand on est la uniquement pr dormir ca va. COncernant le personnel, ils sont très agréables, font bcp d'efforts....
