Very nice hotel, centrally located, elegant decor, clean. Single room a bit small, missing some basics like a hook in bathroom to hang things, and space to put toiletries limited. was not much room to put clothes in a drawer either, so a bit
cramped. Breakfast excellent, service is ok. Overall quiet, but can hear people from room above.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short walk from hotel
Nice shopping - was in Italy, so not looking for made in China leather goods - there is a shoe store, Passi Italiani close by with reasonable prices, and made in Italy. Otherwise a walk down Via Po to the river is lovely.
The hotel is very well positioned in Turin, and the accommodations were very comfortable. Our only "gripe" is in regard to the hotel's policy of a single free bottle of water throughout one's stay (irregardless of how many days you stay). Our
Turin friends made sure we weren't short of bottled water, but no-one could understand a hotel of this standard (and cost) having such a distasteful "penny-wise, pound-foolish" policy. Forewarned is forearmed.....
