According to the legend the town of Todi was founded in a place where an eagle has has deposed a table cloth where the ancient inhabitant (Veii Umbri) used to eat: that is why the coat of arms of Todi town represents an eagle with spread wings which are holding a cloth. The Etruscan town of Todi (its origins are surely Etruscan) is part of the Tiber Fluvial Park and it has one of the most enchanting landscape of Umbria.On the trace of an ancient village a castle was built to be the residency of one of the most prestigious family of the time. Successive the castle became part of the heritage of the Todini's family who created an immense agriculture estate still on the go.
