Basic bland hotel
Siena is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and sadly the Minerva does not do it justice. The location is just barely in the old town, and while the pizzeria across the street was excellent (try the sausage and truffle pizza), the hotel's breakfast was plain and unremarkable. With so many cute hotels closer to the heart of this adorable town, I can't see staying here again.

Good Location, Below Average Hotel
Getting to the hotel was beyond challenging, as the hotel's website directions do not even begin to provide guidance. Once at the hotel, a map was provided that definitely should have been posted on the website to assist in driving. The hotel's minimalistic, sterile decor and non-descript rooms, although in a good location and providing a good value, are below average and do not blend with the historic, surrounding area and town. Although it worked for a short overnight stay, this hotel would not be on a list for any type of extended visit to Siena.

Intenet only available at reception and very slow. Friendly staff at front desk and breakfast room. Breakfast very limited. Clearning ladies in the morning very lound, walls and doors very thin.

I liked this hotel. It is not
I liked this hotel. It is not posh with artifical trappings but it is roomy, very clean, spacious and what you would want in a hotel to have a comfortable stay. I liked this hotel and would go back and stay here again if going to Sienna.

le camere riservate a chi prenota
le camere riservate a chi prenota su internet sono le più semplici, ma hanno tutto. Assulatamente consigliato a chi si ferma a siena per 2/3 giorni. colazione buona. posizione ottima.

Bel hôtel, légèrement en retrait
Bel hôtel, légèrement en retrait de la vieille ville, bon accueil, très propre, très belle vue sur Sienne, très bon petit déjeuner, ça restera un bon souvenir pour moi, parking pour client, tout est prévu pour la commodité, seul bémol les clients ne disposent pas des clefs de l'hôtel et dépendent du service d'accueil pour rentrer dans leur chambre.

From the train station, turn left
From the train station, turn left n walked about 1km a hill and reached the hotel (didn't know which bus to take :b) so it was quiet a walk with my loggages. But the hotel was quiet okay with nice view of the old town, and a nice walk will lead you into the centre old town. Breakfast is good! 從火車站往左走了一公里微上坡的路(不知該做哪部公車^_^) 不錯的酒店,好風景,好早餐.去古城的一段路也是不錯的散步:D
