The IQ was a great hotel to stay at during our time in Rome. The rooms were spotless, the hotel modern and new and the service was great. our only comment would be the firmness of the bed- however large, it was quite hard. We would definitely
consider another stay next time in Italy. Recommended.
The hotel's locationwas excellent. Our rooms were vey comfortable and quite spacious, which was a surprse after Ihaving read some reviews about hotels in Rome. The staff was very friendly and took care of our requests asap. They were also good at
recommending restaurants and making reservations for us. Overall, we were very satisfied and extremely relieved when we saw our super clean rooms..
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short walk from hotel
Clost to termini station. You can even take the airport shuttle to the stn and walk to the hotel. Will save you money on the taxi.
Pros: there is a vending machine for every need, from wine to sandwiches to snacks and even the forgotten toothbrush can be purchased at a low price. The rooms are clean, modern and have a refrigerator that us especially for those who like to pick
up their food from the grocery store. A self service laundry and a gym round up the experience. This hotel makes it easy to be on a budget while in Rome.
Cons: the beds are so hard and uncomfortable you might as well get a blanket and sleep on the asphalt in front of the hotel. The TV in the room is only about 17 inches which makes it hard to see.
Overall: if they would change the mattresses to something a person could sleep in this hotel would be a winner.
