You'll recognize the Una Hotel Rome the second you see it-its modern architecture adds a striking contrast to a city otherwise known for its antiquity. Inside, the hotel is just as startling: think circle sofas, bright modern lighting and abstract art prints. Five meeting rooms make this hotel popular with business travelers, while those with a little more time on their hands can lounge on the sun terrace and stare out at the domes of Santa Maria Maggiore on the Roman horizon. Dine surrounded by sleek Art Deco style at Una Restaurant, or browse the cocktail menu in the Una Café.

Neighborhood
The Una Hotel is located right next to the Termini railway, subway and bus stations, so it's simple and convenient to get around Rome from here, whether you're taking the metro hop to the Vatican over the River Tiber or walking south-west to the Colosseum. International retailers are nearby, while a short walk north will bring you to Frank Sinatra's old haunt, Via Veneto, lined with local cafes and boutiques.
Hints and tips
If you're bringing your four-legged family members along, check out the large parks and wide-open spaces nearby, like Parco del Colle Oppio.

Standing in long lines is all part of sight-seeing in Rome, so it can be well worth buying a guided tour in advance for especially popular places like the Vatican and the Colosseum.

Great location!

The only negative I have to say about this hotel is that it is in a sketchy part of town. The reason for this is because it is practically next door to the Rome train station - which is also a positive because it is super convenient. If you want to go to Rome and do a lot of walking around (esp at night) you may want to consider another area. Otherwise, the rooms are AWESOME! We had a huge balcony on the 6th floor with the best views. We ate at the restaurant there and it was so so yummy. The rooms were big, clean and updated. If I could rate it with a half a star, I would give it a 4.5. Definitely would stay there again.

Beautiful, well appointed Hotel

The Hotel is perfectly located a few yards from Termini Station. Althou when asked, staff were obviously very knowledgeable and well trained, they clearly loathe tourists! With sour faces and a snooty approach the staff need to know that their livelihoods depend on us! Travelling as two single older ladies we were disappointed when we were told that we were not allowed to play cards in any of the public areas even though it was obvious we were not gambling. Breakfasts were excellent and the food in the hotel was of a high standard. Wine and drinks are very expensive. Because of the comfort and proximity of the Hotel to the Bus and Train stations, I would use this Hotel again but I would know not to expect a welcoming smile from any of the recalcitrant staff. They don't look very happy. Maybe the management needs to ask itself why?

Time-saving tip: Long walk from hotel

Take a taxi if walking is a problem. The buses are a disgrace. Packed like sardines and full of old men who like to feel your bum!

Great central location, very affordable with breakie included

Hotel situated just behind Termini Station and close to all main attractions. Believe hotel has a good reputation in the area and to be honest, prices are very affordable (booked 4 nights with breakfast included). Staff is very professional and welcoming. Double bedroom size and comfort and cleanliness were perfect. Good choices for breakfast which can suit for anyone. I would definitely recommend it!

Beware - Wifi is NOT free

Good rooms, clean and modern. Location is great for those arriving / departing from Termini Railstation. Breakfast is ok although nothing like a proper Italian breakfast, as juices were mostly artificial. Wifi not free despite claims/description on booking page. All in all a good hotel, close to nice restaurants .

4 star price, 1 star service. Not recommended.

Worst service ever received in a 4 star hotel. The staffs are very unfriendly and not helpful at all. when we were checking in, the lady took our documents and spent an unusual long time (7 - 10 mins?) cause she was apparently also doing something else. then a guy, who seemed to a friend of hers, walked by, and she stopped what she was doing and started chatting with the guy and left us stand there watching... we arrived around 9pm so we asked her where we could get dinner, she answered, "at this time? i don't know" (btw, no smile at all). so we decided to just walk around to find food and then realized that many restaurants in the back alley were still open; apparently she just didn't bother to help. We received another bad service from another lady on the last day. Very disappointed as this was the last stop of our honeymoon and all the other hotels we stayed earlier were far better and a lot more pleasant.
