Dining

Restaurant/Dinging Information
The Apicio Restaurant offers specialties in line with current food trends, with a special eye for quality and good service. Though the menu occasionally refers to international cuisine, the restaurant mainly focuses on Italian regional food and Roman cuisine; the menu includes daily served specialities (tripe, "grigia", "amatriciana", cacio cheese and pepper, lamb etc.) cooked and guaranteed by the chef's 30-year experience. Fresh ingredients, depending on the season, original servings, and the combination of often unique flavours, convey refinement, elegance and refinedness. The wine-list is exceptional, with a range of wines matching the equally wide range of dishes included in the restaurant's menu. Breakfast: 06,30 a.m. - 10,15 a.m.

Awful Staff, Terrible Service. Spend your money elsewhere

The location of the hotel is good... BUT... - The hotel staff are completely useless, and do not know the meaning of hospitality. - Food menu is small, and not good tasting - Free breakfast is terrible, and offers cereal, fake juice, and croissants. - Rooms are tiny, even the exec. rooms - Rooms have no views. - 'Newly renovated' means after the colosseum was built - 'TV in bathroom' means a 4 inch walkie-talkie screen. - Internet does not work 80% of the time There are amenities included with your room (Such as simple water bottles in executive rooms), which the staff refuse to give you. Everything is an epic battle, even for the free stuff you're already supposed to have. Would never, never recommend this hotel, just not worth all the hassles are fuss. Spend your money elsewhere.

Venture into the back streets, which have more authentic, family kitchens. Stay away from tourist sites when it comes to good food.

So so

The room is small. The toilet is extremely small, and the ceiling is strange, and making you feel uncomfortable.

Very Average

The rooms are a bit outdated, but large. Great included breakfast with American favorites such as eggs and bacon. Free internet access is available in the hotel lobby only. Location is on a fairly quiet street, close to Termini station. We walked everywhere, but this hotel may be a bit far for some to walk to the main attractions.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

I am a Celiac, so I would love to share tips for gluten-free restaurants. Near Trevi Fountain are two of my favorites: Grill & Wine (BEST flavor for steaks/lamb on the grill) and laCerra a few doors down (gluten free pizza, pasta and a knowledgeable staff).

3-night business trip

Very convenient location, nice staff, and clean but overall too expensive. Rooms vary by comfort, views, and layout significantly.

Adequate, clean, not fantastic.

The hotel was adequate. Convenient to train station and metro, but not the best area for dining and attractions. Our room was nice and clean, the bed was really comfortable, and the breakfast was quite good. Our room was near the elevators which were very loud. The hotel staff was not very friendly or helpful with recommendations. I felt like a bother. It was an ok stay, but I would not go out of my way to recommend this hotel to friends.

good if you need to be near train statio

We needed to be near the train station. Nice clean newly remodeled rooms short walk from train station. If I did not need the train access I would have stayed at a more interesting part of rome.

Great location

More modern hotel in Rome that is located very near the Rome Termini train station which is good for both local subway trip and longer train trips to different cities. Hotel rooms are nice and clean and had comfortable beds. Breakfast included in the room rate from orbitz has a wide variety of pastries, meats, juices etc. Very helpful staff. Nearby restaurants are decent but better to head out on the town for really great food. Also very near to souvenir shopping. free internet in the lobby but limited to 30minute intervals and connection is spotty.

Great hotel but way over priced!

This was a really nice hotel located close to the train station and some of the big attractions in Rome. The free breakfast was great and the rooms were really nice. We didn't have hot water a few different times during our 4 day stay and I didn't like have to pay for wifi in my room, but other than it was over all a pleasant stay.
