Worth it's cost.

Location was great and it had everything we needed, even an American outlet. Breakfast was ok but the price was right, free. Our only complaint was apparently our timing. At midnight a group was having a birthday party in the atrium and in the early morning the kids were there for early breakfast. This atrium captures sound like you wouldn't believe and let's just say we didn't get much sleep. The staff tried to quiet them at night but it took a while. All in all, worth the price if you want to be next to the Vatican with easy metro access for tourism.

Amazing!

The rooms looked more like little apartments. They had just been remodeled before we arrived. The bathroom was clean, with a nice shower, a bidet, good bathroom fixtures. There was a scale on the floor and a magnifiying pantograph mirror mounted on the wall. The problems with the bathroom were: 1) we needed to wait long for the water to get warm; 2) when we took a shower, we had to be very careful to make sure water did not run off onto the bathroom floor. Two very nice features in the room: 1) a lot of shelves to put small objects from your pockets; 2) wall outlets were dual standard: they had European as well as non-polar American/Japanese jacks. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They let us check in before the check-in time. They showed us available rooms and offered to select whichever one we liked more. The receptionist spoke at least four languages (Italian, English, Russian, and Ukrainian). The staff was very helpful in meeting our needs beyond the hotel stay: they outlined a sightseeing route for us on the city map, helped us get tickets to the museums, and even explained how and where to get a SIM card for a cell phone. The price was very reasonable. The entire experience was way above our expectation.

Perfect Location for VAtican Visit

My wife and I were traveling through Italy with a nice and needed a hotel with parking and close proximity to the Vatican. Upon our arrival we were given a a nice suite with a terrace. The suite had a fully equipped kitchenette and air conditioner. The staff speaks very good english and are very helpful with information, free maps, and making reservations for you. The hotel is located very close to the Vatican city wall and about a 20 minute walk to St. Peter Square. The Vatican museum was a 7 minute walk from the hotel. There is a metro station just two blocks from the hotel and a bus station and next to the metro station. Bus line #492, which goes by the front of the hotel, will take you right to the main Rome attractions. One thing about the hotel parking, it is limited. First come basis. We got in by 1100am on a Thursday and there was a lot of parking space. That changed considerably on Friday. So plan accordingly. Also, for a 3 star hotel, it is strange that they do not provide bath soap or shampoo.
