Gorgeous Centrally located w huge rooms
A perfect stay in a great city w tons of hotels to choose from. Definitely would stay again! The hotel was an incredible find. You need not look any further! We stayed for 4 nights in mid November2009. We arrived after an international flight about 1030 am and the staff was able to accommodate us immediately to our delight. We walked into a lovely huge 20'x20' room on the 2nd floor of the hotel facing the main street. Furnished w lovely classic furniture, woods and hardwood floors and ceilings at least 12' high--plus a large marble tiled bathroom. Not what I expected in Rome as I always read about sm rooms in Italy. The hotel has an elegant traditional flavor and architecture. A very large central lobby with comfortable sitting areas. In the evening they had an excellent pianist playing great music and a small bar is attached for a little drink if you like. It was a nice place to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing. Breakfast was very nice and abundant. Both hot and cold selections available. It is in the center of the hotel along the side of a beautiful interior garden in the hotel. Lovely garden, well maintained with fountains, grass and flowers. A very quiet and peacful place. Staff here was wonderful, friendly, helpful and English spoken well. The location of Quirinale is ideal--very central. You can walk to many of the major sites or use buses and taxis that are very readily available. It is a very short walk to the Republica metro station or Termini station. Wifi was available for 2 hrs no charge which was a nice added feature. If you see photos online of this hotel they are accurate---quite a lovely place. It is rated 4star but in many ways I am surprised it is not a 5star. You will be very happy here--look no further!!
