Quality Hotel Excel Ciampino Airport

We found the hotel perfect for our weekend. The staff were very helpful, the room / en suite facilities were of an ideal size and kept very clean.

Very pleasant but quick stay. It was difficult to find even with a GPS. We would stay again if passing through the area. Staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable, dining was good, and it is convenient to the airport.

Not a 4 star hotel: only a bar serviced by the same personnel of the reception desk and a restaurant with just one waitress (friendly), but no wine list e.g. Our room # 215 was small even by European standards, no coffee making facilities nor a trouser press. TV set as small as in a 2 star hotel (no space for a bigger one). Wireless did not work. Worse thing, as others too pointed out, were two separate mattresses on a double bed, not kept together even with a cover. Thin walls: we were in the same corridor of a group of students, so we could enjoy. When checking out at 9 a.m. on Wed, two employees at the desk just referred us to the only one empowered to check out guests, busy in a phone talk taking reservations! Hotel hard to find even for an Italian, does not overlook Via Appia as the address suggests: at the bottom of a blind lane with just one road sign at the intersection, so we missed it the first time. Only the price was adequate: no surprise now!

We found this hotel very good indeed. It was a bit hard to find mainly because we arrived in Rome when it was dark, however, we would recommend this hotel without any hesitation.

Hotel is located a few miles from Ciampino Airport. Approx 20 euro for a taxi, but has an excellant airport drop off service @ 5e a head. Not much information given on arrival to hotel about facilities. After requesting we discovered Free wifi for guests. We stayed in a new, modern, stylish apartment.

We had a rental car and drove in to see Rome and the sites. The hotel was a little confusing to find as there are street names the same right in the middle of the city-when we finally remembered it was just outside town we found it right away. Beautiful location, the staff was so kind and we noticed the manager running around in the morning making sure things were smooth. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Just remember you have to stick the room key in the slot by the door to make the lights work! It took us a bit to figure that out about European rooms. Get there early so you can enjoy the fantastic garden, rooms, and vineyard literally next door.

The hotel staff was very unfriendly, the hotel was very far from Rome and the hotel website has published misleading information by saying that the hotel is 1.5 Km from metro/train station. The hotel is actually 3 miles from transportation to Rome and the only way to get to the train station is by paying 30 Euros on a cab ride or to take the bus.

ottima scelta per chi ha necessità di stare vicino l'aeroporto di ciampino, per chi è in macchina, vicino al raccordo. Hotel confortevole, pulito, ottima colazione e personale disponibile e cordiale. Hotel silenzioso e immerso nel verde.Dispone di Parcheggio interno.
