The Parco dei Principi Grand Hotel & SPA is in a privileged location in the exclusive Parioli district, next to the Villa Borghese park and surrounded by a stunning botanical garden: a true oasis in the heart of Rome. The hotel, which was designed by the famous architect Gi Ponti, was built in 1964 and recently got a facelift inspired by the sumptuous and elaborate style of the patrician villas of Rome's late-17th-century nobility. The refined boiserie in the hall, the stunning gilded stuccowork, the fabrics, colours, precious furnishings and old paintings are tasteful touches which have made the Parco dei Principi Grand Hotel & SPA one of the capital's most elegant and comfortable hotels. Relax your mind from everyday thoughts and dip into an atmosphere of pure well-being by enjoying a journey of a thousand sensations at Prince Spa, which will help you regain and keep the mental and physical balance. Opened in 2010, Prince Spa with its 2000 square meters is divided into three levels and consists in a large Beauty Area with 12 treatment rooms and 2 multisensory couple Spa suites, a Wet Area with bio sauna, steam room, emotional showers, Swedish shower, iced fountain, a 25-metre ozone-sanitized pool, a relaxation area and a 450-square metre Fitness Area. The team of Hairlosophy hairstylists and the menu proposals of I-Food bio bar, complete the wide range of services and treatments offered by Prince Spa. The Access to the indoor pool is not allowed to children under the age of 4 years. Children older than 4 years must be accompanied by an adult and are under his/her own responsibility and supervision.

Dining

Bar
The "La Pomme" bar is cosy and sophisticated and ideal also for business meetings. Cocktails and snacks are served until late at night and it has a piano bar
Restaurant
The "Pauline Borghese" restaurant is one of Rome's best known restaurants, an enchanting room overlooking the Italian-style garden and a tranquil and delightful haunt in the heart of Rome. The five-star service is of the highest level and the menu, based on the traditional and genuine flavours of Italian cuisine with a contemporary twist, is accompanied by a wine list of fine wines and by a selection of regional Italian oils. A joy for the eyes and a triumph of flavours. During the summer months light lunches and snacks are available every day beside the pool.

One of the best location in Rome

The location of this hotel is absolutely stunning : especially if you get the room with the view on Villa Borghese, you enjoy a great panorama overlooking the green area. Just imagine, in the center of Rome surrounded by palms and gulls flying all around ! The interior is a little bit old and the breakfast room (and food offer) is quite poor. It's better with the Pauline Restaurant : nice food and nice service. Don't expect formal mood, but warm, italian manners. Into the rooms, lovely amenities by Etro. The spa is, without doubts, the most beautiful spa in Rome : enormous indoor pool, modern design, excellent services.

An age gone by.

Like New York hotels in the 60s, a lot of staff doing nothing. The building is down at the heels and located a ways out in the Embassy area.
