The Belvedere Century Hotel is one of the oldest 3 stars Hotels of Lido di Ostia. Built at the beginning of the 20th Century, the hotel has retained its architectural features. Located on the Roman seafront, the hotel is 8 km away from Rome's International Airport of Fiumicino “Leonardo da Vinci”, 13 km from the New Rome's Fair Center, 3 km from the Ostia Antica Archaeological site and 25 km from Romes city centre. Thanks to its exceptional position, the hotel can offer a resting and unforgettable stay and enjoy the wonderful seaview. The Belvedere Century Hotel offers: fax/photocopy svc, WI-FI internet in the rooms, taxi, bus & metro ticket sale, reception open 24/7, newspapers. Rome

Room was too small and smelly. Cable service was poor the whole time we were there; no english channels at all had to pay extra and definitely was NOT informed of this upfront. Front desk spoke poor English and was frustrated the majority of our stay. Definitely not worth the money. Housekeeping was horrible; afraid to sleep on linen. Spent most of our time out of room just to avoid poor service. Breakfast was good and that's about the only thing we enjoyed. My husband and I travel internationally quite a bit and this was our worse experience.

This hotel is not close to major attractions at all. Stayed here to be close to airport only. Took the subway for part of the trip; definitely not within walking distance.

Great Location

Our room overlooked the beautiful Mediterrean Sea and boardwalk. There are several nice restaurants nearby. The Metro Station is a short ride which you can use to visit Rome. Also the airport is about 20 minutes away by cab. The hotel is situated in the city of Ostia.

Convienent Location

I stayed at this hotel for one night at the beginning of July. Our room had a nice view of Mt. Vesuvious. The room was very nice and clean and the staff was extremely helpful. It was a great location right across from the train station (walking distance). It was also possible to book affordable one day tours from the front desk. The neighborhood was a little bit shady. I wouldn't go out after dark. We did have a nice meal at a nearby restaurant, but they didn't serve pizza until after 7 pm and we ate around 3.

lOCATED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ACTION

The Belvedere is across the street from the beach. There are more than twenty (20) restaurants and pubs to choose from at walking distance from the hotel. There is, also, a Mc Donalds. Depending on your budget, you can chose from only a drink in the sidewalk cafe to a formal dinner.All within walking distance. You have to order lunch before 2:00 pm otherwise will have to go to Mc Donalds. Everything is closed. The only thing I did not like are the instructions to get to the hotel. Even with GPS I got lost.

Greta location

Located on the Lido next to the beach, downtown Ostia and the beach! Small rooms with a terrace overlooking the sea. Friendly and helppful staff.

Wonderful Location

The View from our hotel room was Fantastic, facing the ocean and large boulevard and plaza. Great walking area. Good restaurants. Staff at hotel very helpful, called for taxi and we paid set price etc. Breafast was very nice. Will return to this area again and take train to Rome.

Small restaurant called peppers, right down the street, great steaks and antipaist. Busy on weekends.
